As part of the global analysis of the LEAD Program, we have realized that LEAD has generally become a TM “plug-in” in the conferences agendas where some personal development and/or skills development sessions are delivered. Within this scope, LEAD is (in the best of the cases) only an added value taking a considerable amount of space from our conferences that could be used in a more strategic way to enhance the leadership development of our members; acting as a catalyst for the LDM implementation, and contributing to the sustainable growth of our organization.

We want to take the LEAD Program to the next level, transforming it into a companion for the leadership journey of every member, starting at what we do at conferences and further on outside the conferences framework as well.

We believe that with this approach LEAD could also be a fundamental part of our growth strategy as organization.

With this purpose in mind, AIESEC International has partnered with Dey Dos Popcorn Academy to put together GLC as one of our attempts to explore what LEAD could also be, and after the first two editions of GLC in 2014 and 2015, here we are trusting once more this space to bring forth LEAD to a whole new level. The conference has been designed for you to experience first hand how conferences could be designed under an innovative framework that inspire and encourages delegates to be engaged and feel ownership for what is happening.

Spaces to make sure you can transfer what you learn at the conference to your own entity are carefully planned. We will also explore other ways in which LEAD can become part of your growth strategy and generate value instead of merely add value.

Taking LEAD from added value to value generator, both for AIESEC as an organization and for each one of the leadership development processes of our members.


Who should attend?

The conference is designed for MCPs, MCVPs, LCPs, LCVPs, LC Coaches, NTTs, NSTs & LEAD Responsibles. Applications for Team Leaders at LC level will be opened after deadline if we do not fill the 60 spots of the conference by then.

FIRST THAT APPLIES HAS PREFERENCE IN TAKING THE SPOT

We want to make sure that the efforts put into designing and delivering GLC2016 pay forward

by having a real impact in the network, for that is important to have the people that truly believe

in the LEAD Program as a catalyst of the LDM at all levels of the organization.

Viana do Castelo is located in the very North of Portugal. We recommend you to check your flight tickets to Porto and not to Lisbon.

2. Receive your confirmation email by 16th January 2016. The confirmation email contains logistic and travel details as well as bank account data for transferring the fee.

3. Transfer the fee of the conference to the bank account you have received.

If you need a formal invoice, please submit the official name under which AIESEC is registered in your country as well as your VAT/Fiscal number and the full fiscal address of AIESEC in your entity including postal code once you have received your confirmation email. Fees and other details

This includes: • Accommodation for the nights of the 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th April 2016. • Meals for all days starting with dinner on the 27th of April and finishing with

breakfast on the 1st of May 2016. • Learning materials, and, of course, the most incredible LEAD journey ever in

company of a very selected and awesome group of AIESECers!

The early fee of GLC2016 is 220 Euros for payments made until 31st January

after that date the fee is 255 euros

Cancellation Conditions If for any reason it is necessary to cancel your attendance to the conference, the following will apply:

Cancellations more than three weeks before GLC: loss of 50% of the payment made. Cancellations within three weeks of GLC: full loss of payment made.

Please make sure you get a travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accidents, cancellations and personal property.*
