Environmental Issues

Environmental issues are harmful effects of Human activities on the Environment, Biophysical Environment and Earth.

The amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere is already above the threshold that can potentially cause dangerous climate change. We are already at risk.

This causes Acid Rain to fall. Breathing issues become

common. Unhygienic food to be

harvested. Cracked land or Dry land. Hot Environment etc.

Human Population

Human population is increasing rapidly. Today it’s almost 7.2 billion people in this world.

Scientist believe that it will be 9.2 billion by 2050 and 10.9 billion by 2100.

Growth in population increases cutting of trees for settlement, factories etc.

More farms are built to give food to these people. Animals are killed for their purposes. This all effects environment.

Global Warming

Global Warming is gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants.

It causes ice to melt in North and South Poles which lead to rise in water level and rise in water level increases the amount of floods.

Ozone layer is affected and dangerous radiation enters inside the Earth.

Natural Disasters

Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and floods, Hurricanes and Cyclones are types of Natural disasters.

They destroy Farms, Human settlement and cause lot of destruction.

They have increased in numbers because of climatic changes.
