EAC CERTIFICATION 06

EAC – EurAsian Conformity – mandatory product certification and declaration scheme in EurAsian Economic Union (EAEU). Most products must be certified or declared according to Technical Regulation of Custom Union to enter EAEU market.

EurAsian Economic Union (EAEU)– Union of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Common economic and custom market with population over 185 million of people, 4, 47 trillions of US dollars GDP (PPP). EAC certification and declaration provides to the product access to the markets of all EAEU member states without necessity to get any additional national certifications (there are some exemptions and our expert will provide you appropriate information on the first step of application review).


EAC CERTIFICATION 07EAC certificate

EAC conformity assessment of products to the requirement of Technical Regulation. Certificate shall be issued by accredited certification body based on the review and assessment and accredited lab test reports.

EAC certificate can be issued for batch, single product or series depending on your needs and requirements of appropriate Technical Regulation.

EAC certificate must be registered in official database of EAC registered certificates.

EAC declaration EAC conformity assessment of products to the requirement of Technical regulation. Declaration shall be established by producer or EAC official representative in EAEU based on accredited lab tests reports.

EAC declaration must be registered in official database of EAC registered certificates.

According to legislation, only resident of EAEU can be applicant for EAC certification and declaration.

EAC REPRESENTATIVE 08

Any company registered outside EAEU can not apply and get EAC certification or declaration.

It must have official EAC representative on the territory of EAEU with official agreement that states responsibility of EAC representative for quality and safety of applied for declaration or certification products.

Functions of EAC representative can be assigned to producer’ local brunch or subsidiary, buyer or company that professionally fulfills function of EAC representative for foreign producers and traders.

Together with EAC certification and declaration Global Expert Group can ensure you with EAC official representative or help to

open branch or subsidiary.


GOST R CERTIFICATION 09

GOST R – Russian national products and services certification system. For some products (e.g. chemicals) GOST R product certification is obligatory to enter Russian market, but in most cases GOST R – voluntary certification scheme that can support your business development in Russian Federation.

Owner of GOST R certification scheme – Russian government and you can often meet the requirement to have voluntary GOST R certificate in tenders and bids.

GOST R voluntary certification according to GOST or GOST R standard is a good option for services certification. Together with obligatory service licensing or state registration (if necessary) GOST R

certification can persuade your clients in safety and quality of rendering services.

GOST R certificate can be issued to the requirements of GOST R and GOST standards as well as other documents (e.g. own company’s standards and specification).


LICENSING AND REGISTRATION

According to national legislations of EAEU and CIS member states, for some types of activities / products local and foreign companies must get governmental license or state registration.

In Russian Federation, according to the Federal Law 99-ФЗ, list of activities that must be licensed includes 50 types of activities, e.g.:

• installation, maintenance and repair of fire safety means for buildings and structures activity;

• maintenance of medical equipment;• activity in the field of causative agents use of humans

and animals infectious diseases and GMOs of III and IV degrees of potential danger;

• transportation activity by inland water transport, sea transport of passengers;

• inland water transport, maritime transport of dangerous goods activity;

• carriage by air of passengers;• medical activity;• pharmaceutical activity;• Etc.

Some types of products, additionally to EAC or GOST R certification, must have official state registration / approval. Among these products some types of:

LABORATORY TESTING 10

Procedures of certification, declaration, licensing, registration and other conformity assessment require laboratory testing of products.

In mentioned above cases product must be tested in nationally accredited laboratory (e.g. in Russia it is accreditation of Federal Accreditation Service –RusAccreditation) and according to GOST and GOST R standards.

Our experts will identify all necessary lab test requirements and help you to

get accredited test reports

There are no any accredited laboratory of this type outside Russia and / or EAEU.
