Since Global Stole was founded in 1973 it has been important for us, in addition to delivering a superior product, to serve customers rapidly and with flexibility. Therefore, it is a great advantage that our chairs are en-tirely produced at our own factory in Hvorslev, Denmark. This means we can respond very quickly to customer requests for the choice of special castors, seat heights or a particular chair color, etc.

With our flexibility in our production we will do our outmost to fulfill any special request. Supplier to the professional user since 1973.

MiCRO stoolsThe Micro-stool is our absolute allrounder, highly appreciated among kindergarten teachers, who so often have to work at eye-level with the children. The chair is light in weight and easy to move. The seat is pleasantly soft and the perfect place to sit - either for the short moment, in order to tie the kiddies’ shoelaces, or for longer, when it is time for story-reading.

The chair is available in several fabrics and colours. For the use in institutions, we recommend to use our imitation leather, which is very durable and easy to clean.

The idea of the chair comes from the world of sports - to combine activity and rest in a well tought-through way, ensuring the best possible conditions for a top performance.

In other words, to get into balance with your body while you work.

The chair has the same effect as the famous Pilates Ball. It requires the body to “concentrate on seating” and thus strengthens muscle groups in back and lumbar and keeps them active while you sit and work.

Global Easy – Seat mechanismAn important issue for the user of a chair is to sit comfortable. Another important aspect is that it should be easy to adjust the chair into the ideal position - especially if the user changes position often, or if there are several users sharing the same chair. For stools (without Backrest) we have developed our EASY-mechanism;While sitting on the stool, the user can release a handle beneath the seat and use the body weight to adjust the seat angle variably between 17° forward and 5° backward. This can determine whether or not the stool is defined as comfortable.

The user of a chair will find it an important criterium to be able to sit comfortably on it, as well as to find the correct chair for the purpose in question. Another important quality aspect is that it should be easy to adjust the chair into the desired position - especially if the user changes the position often, or if there are several different users sharing the same chair.

Thus, we have developed the special “Euromatic”-seat mechanism, which all our Universal chairs are equipped with. The user finds two small handles beneath the seat, with which both seat and backrest can be adjusted variably. Each handle has its own small gas spring. If the user releases the left handle, he can use his body weight and adjust the angle of the seat between 12° forward and 5° backward. The angle of the backrest 16° forward and 6° backward - is adjusted withthe right handle. Overall, it is a very intuitive mechanism, based on the same principles as the height adjustment.

ESD - Electro Static DischargeElectrostatic charges, and their resulting discharges (ESD - electrostatic discharge) present severe risks to the life of electronic equipment in general, and to semiconductor components in particular. Individuals can become electrostatically or triboelectically charged in various situations, e.g. by walking across a floor. The subsequent discharge can be felt as an electric shock. Although this shock normally does not harm the individual - it just feels unpleasant.

ESD can cause damage to, or operational disturbances in electronic equipment as used in for instance hospitals, printing works, the paper industry or industrial handling of plastic, or in other situations with the possibility of accumulated electric charges. Seat heights

Foot released height adjustmentAll our stools and chairs can also be equipped with a foot released height adjustment - which is particularly useful when both hands are in use for working.

ExampleFor every model, the seat height level is shown in the catalogue. For each seat height level, the table will show which actual seat heights (in cm) can be obtained depending on which size of gas spring is used. For instance, a chair with “seat height 1 - medium” will have an actual seat height between 55 and 74 cm. Please note that some of the intervalsoverlap. Thus, it would be a good idea to find out if you want to use your chair in different height positions. Whenever in doubt, you are welcome to contact our customer service, who will be able to give you competent advice. Please also note that all our heights have a tolerance of +/- 2cm.
