Global Capital Investment (GCI) is a Nepal basedcompany established in 2011.The main objective ofthe company is to invest in and help improveagriculture and various sectors of Nepaleseeconomy.GCI is focused on identifying suitable business andinvestment opportunities in arrangement withstrategic partners, in order to facilitate the transferof skills, resources and technology, therebypromoting mutual benefits to both the investor andeconomy.

RAMKOT FARM

Ramkot Farm is expanded in 25 ropanis of land.This serves as a model farm to all the farmers.Testing of each and every seeds and fertilizersis done in this farm. There are more than 15tunnels. In it, varieties of organic vegetables aregrown.

Development and maintenance of this farm isdone in such a way that, it can set a benchmarkamong all the farmers who are doing organicfarming.

ORGANIC HOUSE

GCI has its organic outlet at Sanepa. So far, thisoutlet is one of the best organic outlet we have inKathmandu. Cleanliness, hygiene, and warmhospitality are few of those things which we nevercompromise.

Organic products from all across the nation can befound in this outlet. We have products from veryrural areas of Nepal like Sindhuli, Marpha, Jumla,and Achham.

ORGANIC FERTILIZER MANUFACTURING

To produce the chemical free organicfertilizer, GCI has already started itsproduction at Ramkot in its factory. Expertshave assured that this fertilizers will makeland with pesticides free within 6 monthsof time.

At Ramkot,fertilizer producing factory isabit small whereas, at Parsa,the factory willbe huge and will produce more than 1000kgs of fertilizers daily.

SEED DISTRIBUTION

GCI has already collaborated withone of the big seed producingcompany of Japan to import seedsfrom Japan to Nepal.Testing shows that theproductivity of the seeds thatwere imported from Japan is quitehigh.Distribution of those seeds will bedone through our channelpartners. i.e. Dealer, wholesalerand retailer.

AGRO COMMERCIALIZATION

•For the commercialization of organicproducts it is necessary to increase itsproduction.•GCI aims to work directly with farmers, trainthem, provide technology, know-how,technician, fertilizer, seed and increase theproduction.•Activities of value chain from the farmers tothe consumers adds value to the productsand services we offer which will support thecommercialization of agricultural sector inNepal.

GUDPAK PRODUCTION

GCI produces the best Gudpak, purely made of Khuwa. Itis produced and supplied to various well knownrestaurants and department stores of Kathmandu. Morethan 100 kgs of Gudpak is produced in a week in anaverage. Gudpak feedback that we have been receiving isoverwhelming. For the sampling purpose, we havealready exported it to various countries like France,Malaysia and Japan. Currently, we have not been able tomeet the supply as per the demand.

COFFEE PLANTATION

With the motive of meeting the huge demand of Nepalicoffee in international market, the company has made thenecessary arrangement to export the locally grown Nepalicoffee all over the world. Company has already plantedabout 5 thousand coffee plants.

IMPORT OF AGRICULTURE TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES

GCI has made an agreement with Japanese company for theimport of high quality agriculture tools and technology. Uponfinishing of legal procedures, we shall supply these tools andtechnologies to the farmers all across the country.

REAL ESTATE

GCI has been formed for the benefit ofNepalese residing abroad through theirown initiation. It plans to collectnecessary fund from them to invest inreal estate and finally to sell back tothem. The pattern of design as well asconstruction will be according to thecompany but in consultation with thestakeholders.GCI has been surveyingdifferent locations inside Kathmanduvalley for the project. More over, fewdesigns of houses have also beendesigned in consultation with prominentarchitectures of the country.

TOURISM SECTOR

GCI has realized the potential of tourismIndustry in Nepal. Nepal is in itself a diversifiedand beautiful land. Some major forms oftourism that has potential are:•Adventure tourism (Paragliding, Trekking,Rafting, Mountain sightseeing etc)•Agro tourism•Religious tourism (Lumbini , Pasupathinathtemple etc)•Cultural tourism•Research (Herbs, wildlife, culture etc)•Resort development

CONSULTANCY SERVICES

In order to facilitate the foreign Investorswilling to Invest in Nepal,GCI will facilitateas a Consultant. For foreign Investors theculture, hiring people, Governmentregistration activities, Market Researchand Feasibility Analysis could be the areaswhere GCI will support them. We aim toencourage the FDIs in Nepal which willhelp uplift the economy of Nepal.

MAGNETIC DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE

GCI plans to manage waste products by use of magnetic energy.Under the plan, not only waste materials such as timber, foodscraps, and papers but also rubber like tyre, and plastics such afishing nets, polystyrene foam, plastic bottles, nylons(a syntheticfabric),etc are decomposed to be fine powders. A series ofmeeting with Japanese Engineers is undergoing at present.

SOLAR AND WIND

•GCI has installed a set of Wind and Solar energy atRamkot farmhouse which is generating nearly 3Kilowatt of energy.•It is an alternate to hydro electricity•The set was installed for examination purposeafter doing research for nearly one year inconsultation with professors of Center forEngineering Studies of Tribhuwan University.•GCI is also planning to install Japanese made windand solar energy sets where the electricity can begenerated even in the low speed of wind in allpossible regions of Nepal.
