Most people travelling to Peterhof plan to see the fountains - main information about the Lower Park with fountains is given on Page 2. GRAND PETERHOF PALACE

& MUSEUMS  NEXT TO  IT

The fastest way to get to Peterhof is by hydrofoil, that crosses the Gulf of Finland. It takes 30 minutes to get from the Hermitage at the Palace Embankment in St.Petersburg to the Pier in Peterhof. The hydrofoil companies are not assotiated with Peterhof State Museum-Reserve and do not sell tickets to its facilities. The most picturesque way to Peterhof is by train. It takes 36 minutes to get from the Baltic Railway Station to the "New Peterhof" Station.  City buses  № 356 or 351-A will bring you to the Upper Garden  from the station in 15 minutes. A common way to get to Peterhof is to take a city minibus № 224, 300 or 424 from "Avtovo" metro station. Fountains of the western & eastern part of the Lower Park are on from 11:00 till 18:00. Fountains of the central part of the Lower Park, including the Grand cascade & the Samson fountain are on from 11:00 till 20:15.
