GIUSEPPE SPOLETINI Canadian Baritone Giuseppe Spoletini has performed widely throughout Canada, the United States and Europe, both as a soloist and with the popular ensemble O Sole Trio. He has performed with the Opera Theater of Saint Louis, the Opera Company of Brooklyn, Saskatoon Opera Association, the Cincinnati Opera, the Chelsea Opera of NYC and Opera Company of the Highlands. Mr. Spoletini is equally at home on the concert stage as he is the oratorio stage. When he is not performing, Mr. Spoletini teaches from his private studio and is a member of the vocal faculty of the Manhattan School Pre-College, as well as co-director of the school’s Musical Theater program in both the Pre-College and Summer Music Camp. Mr. Spoletini is also a member of the music faculty of the Pierrepont School in Westport, Connecticut, and is the Director of Music and baritone soloist at Greenville Community Church in Scarsdale, NY. Mr. Spoletini recorded his first gospel/inspirational CD entitled Now Sings My Soul under the direction of renowned iconic funk legend and producer Nona Hendryx. DAVID SHENTON English-born pianist, violinist, composer and arranger David Shenton has worked as a professional musician since the age of 14. David has collaborated with a host of stars including Vanessa Williams, Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney, Renée Fleming, Liz Callaway, Sherrill Milnes, André Previn, Michael Feinstein, Amanda McBroom, Katie Couric, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz to name a few. David has performed at all the top concert halls in NYC and London and many around the world. David is one third of the popular musical group O Sole Trio, which tours extensively. David is a member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop and has written 5 musicals. He has also composed film scores, hundreds of original compositions, and produced countless arrangements and orchestrations for leading industry figures. Born in Rotherham, England, David studied violin and piano at The Royal College of Music from where he graduated with the highest honours.

ERIN SHIELDSA graduate of the Indiana University School of Music, Erin also studied voice in Vienna, Austria. Erin’s vocal versatility has allowed her to perform a number of different genres all over the country, including leading roles for many reputable music festivals, opera companies and orchestras. Most notably, she has given several performances at Lincoln Center with the New York Philharmonic and The American Orchestra. In 2011, she placed in the Top Five in the prestigious American Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia. She has performed her show, The Great American Songbook Retold, at some of NYC’s most famous jazz and cabaret clubs including The Iridium Jazz Club, The Metropolitan Room and Somethin’ Jazz Club. Erin has headlined the Forest Hills Jazz Festival, and was a featured artist at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Erin performed the role of Marina Vlady in the world premiere of Let Us Fly, working with TONY Award-winner Larry Hochman (Book of Mormon) and Moni Yakim (Jacques Brel is Alive & Well) at the 92nd Street Y, NYC.

O Sole TrioO Sole Trio has performed to sold-out crowds at major performance venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Redlands Bowl (to a crowd of 6,000+), Ronnie Scott’s (London), and all over the United States, Canada, and the UK. This exciting classical crossover ensemble featurrd the lush voices of soprano Erin Shields, baritone Giuseppe Spoletini, and David Shenton on piano and violin.

O Sole Trio shows are both touching and humorous. They breathe new life into familiar favorites with their unique and innovative arrangements. They have brought their exhilarating and unique shows to numerous venues throughout North America and beyond. The trio has garnered rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Their recent credits include a performance on Fox 5’s Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto and Dave Price, as well as a sold-out Carnegie Hall début and a standing-room-only performance at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium with their show From Pavarotti to Pop, commissioned by the Lincoln Center. In addition, O Sole Trio’s recent performance at the Redlands Bowl in California drew an audience of over 6,000 people.

O Sole Trio has also taken their show overseas to reach international audiences at two world famous venues in the UK: Dame Cleo Laine’s Music in the Garden Festival (Wavendon) and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (London).

O Sole Trio continues to tour extensively throughout the United States, and is proud to provide educational outreach concerts and masterclasses to children of all ages and economic backgrounds.
