Beginning in 1963, he taught civil, bankruptcy and commercial law at the University of Turin Faculty of Economics. Approximately 10 years ago, he retired as associate professor of commercial law.

He has published material on family businesses, partnerships, corporations, financial statements, statutory auditors of joint-stock companies (listed and non-listed), auditing and certification of financial statements, groups of undertakings, insolvency procedures.

He participated as speaker at numerous conventions, conferences, seminars, study groups and other events addressing issues and problems of corporate and bankruptcy law.

During his professional career, he has dealt with corporate crisis management, as well as expert witness for the defence of directors and statutory auditors of joint-stock companies in civil and criminal actions.

He was also a long-term Council Member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Turin, Ivrea and Pinerolo (Italy) and served a 3-year term as its President.
