Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) was started in
the year 1980, subsequently declared in 2007 as a Deemed to be University,
under section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
GITAM is accredited with “A+” Grade by National Assessment and
Accreditation Council (NAAC), UGC, New Delhi. GITAM was given
Category I status by UGC, Government of India.
GITAM School of International Business (GSIB), formerly known as GITAM
Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT), was established in the year 1997 in
academic collaboration with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New
Delhi, in GITAM. Subsequently, GSIB was brought within the ambit of
GITAM (Deemed to be University) and declared as an autonomous School of
Excellence in International Business, in recognition of its academic leadership
in International Business in the Country. University Grants Commission
(UGC), Ministry of Human Resources Development, (MHRD), Govt. of
India, New Delhi has granted independent recognition to GSIB in the ambit
of GITAM. All Programmes offered by the School, have approval of the UGC
CSR – GHRDC Survey 2017 :2nd Rank in Top B-School of
Eminence
NHRDN B-School Survey-2016: 50th Rank - All India and 34th

Programmes offered
1. Post Graduate Programmes- Two years full time
MBA (International Business) Business in today’s digitally connected; World is increasingly global and many international business graduates work in a variety of sectors. International business graduates are hired by multi-national corporations, business involved in foreign trade (import and export), government and public institutions. Spanned across Six Trimesters MBA (International Business) program provides an opportunity for the student to gain knowledge in the domain of global business where he can build the expertise in more than one functional area by way of choosing portfolio of electives according to his choice of interest.
MBA (International Banking and Finance)
The increasing integration of world economy, professional in banking and finance act as a critical link in enabling the flow of funds and investments across countries, in the era of Financial Capitalism. Opportunities exists in export houses, shipping companies, consultancy firms, logistics and courier companies, banking sector, financial institutions, securities firm etc. Spanned across Six Trimesters MBA (International Banking and finance) is a sector specific program. It provides an opportunity for the student to gain knowledge in banking and finance sectors. The programme has an international flavor with mandatory courses in these sectors.
MBA (Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
This Six Trimester program on Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management exposes the student to the domain of International Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The program is aimed to impart knowledge on the domains of global sourcing, warehouse & inventory management, end-to-end services, information & knowledge management, transportation, reverse logistics and many more frontiers involved in supply chains. Upon successful completion, a student can get placed in both Indian and foreign companies that operate as supply chain intermediaries.

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) -1 year full time Programme(Extendble to Modular MBA (Business Analytics) with 2nd year off campus module). The current industrial revolution commonly refered to as ‘industry 4.0’, is heavily driven by data and analytics to capture value in all systems of production, processes and services. In this evolving era, the interaction between man and machine using data and analytics realtime will peak in the world of cyber physical systems. Business analytics programme will equip the students with cutting edge skills in both management domain and analytics to drive this revolution. Business analytics professionals are in high demand across all sectors, such as finance, consulting, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government and education.
The 1-year PGDBA programme spread in 3 trimesters provides knowledge on both management domain and anlyticals. It has a 8-week ‘Capstone Project’ component which provides experience of working with industry.
This programme also provides an opportunity for the students, if interested, to extend it to MBA(Business Analytics) with off-campus modular mode for another one year.
Fee structure for MBA Programmes The tution fee for the 2-year MBA programme is 4.25 lakhs per annum which would be paid in two instalments. The tutuion fee for PGDBA is 3 lakhs payable in two instalments. The following are the payment particulars for 2-years with due dates(tentatively).

Accommodation
Hostel accommodation is available within the campus. Hostel
accommodation is allotted based on first come first serve basis.
Approximately monthly expenses would be Rs. 9,500(tentatively). Hostel
tariffs are subjected to management decisions. For further details about
hostels visit www.gitam.edu.
ADMISSION PROCESS
Eligibility: Any Graduate (after 10+2) from a recognized university with 50% marks or Second Class or equivalent CGPA is eligible to apply. Those awaiting results of Final Year Degree examinations may also apply. However, if proof of graduation is not submitted by 10th September 2019, their admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fee.
Mathematics/Statistics/Commerce/ComputerApplication/Economics/Business Administration/Engineering/Technology at Under Graduate level or Post Graduate level is compulsory for admission into PGDBA.
Admission criteria: Valid test scores in CAT-2018/XAT-2019 /MAT-(Sep-2018, Dec-2018, Feb-2019 and May-2019)/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT-2019(1st & 2nd tests). Or GET’19(GSIB Entrance Test 2019).

Selection Process
Under conventional mode, selection process shall include GET’19 or a valid test score and Group Discussion & Personal Interview which will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram/Bengaluru/ Chennai/ Hyderabad/ Visakhapatnam/ Bhubaneswar/ Raipur /Ranchi/Patna/ Kolkata / Guwahati/ Lucknow / Delhi/ Mumbai.
GSIB reserves the right to add or delete any center(s).
Applicants with a valid test score can avail online mode through Skype for giving their Micro Presentation & Personal Interview. Slots are available from October-2018 to February-2019 on every Saturday between 10am to 4pm (excluding holidays).

Upon getting selected, the student will be offered provisional admission into the programme. The student need to pay Rs. 50,000/- as commitment fee for further process of admission. The commitment fee will be adjusted in the first instalment amount.
The student will be provided with all the necessary documents, in case of obtaining the education loan etc.,
In case the student wants to withdraw the admission before commencement of programme, Rs. 5000/- (+ 18% GST) will be deducted from the commitment fee, and remaining amount will be refunded by the central administration after closer of admissions for the academic year 2019-20.
How to Apply
Application can be submitted "on line" by visiting our website: www.gsib.gitam.edu. While submitting the online application, online payment mode is available to remit the application fee of Rs.1, 000/- or Rs.1,500/- (Rs.1,000 + Rs.500/- GET’19 examination fee) whichever is applicable. Soft copies of necessary documents need to be uploaded along with online application.
Alternatively, the application can be downloaded from our website www.gsib.gitam.edu and submit duly filled in, enclosed with necessary documents and a DD for Rs.1000/- or Rs.1500/- in favor of "GITAM School of International Business", payable at Visakhapatnam.
Note:
Submission of single application form is sufficient for all programmes. Student can mention in the same application form the order of preference for different programmes for his/her choice.
Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

1. This is a common application form for all the 2 year MBA Programmes and the 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics.
2. Student need to register first and obtain the user Id and Password then proceed to apply. If you are visiting the online application portal for the first time, kindly fill the details. Your registration log in and password details would be mailed to you on the email address that you provide.
3. If you have already received the login and password details by email, then kindly use the details to login and submit your application.
4. Kindly select the program that you are applying. You may specify the other programs under 2nd and 3rd preferences. You would be offered admission to either of the two programs depending upon the availability of seats.
5. This application form is an integral part of the admission process. Please provide correct information. Admission granted on the basis of incorrect information will be subjected to cancellation of your admission upon verification.
6. Without payment of application fee, your application will not be processed for interviews.
7. Any change in your address/e-mail/contact number should be intimated to [email protected] to facilitate information reach.
8. In all matters regarding admission to the program, the decision of GITAM School of International Business will be final and binding on the applicant. No correspondence from the applicant with respect to his/her non-selection will be entertained.
