GIS Overview Definition

Create an accounting system of generation attributes to be reflected on a “Certificate”.

LSE’s subject to various reporting requirements need to accumulate certificates - “Unassigned” will be allocated.

Results of the system will be used to generate reports by LSE’s to meet regulatory requirements.

GIS Design Working Group’s Charter– Develop and review all program requirements and business rules.– Review all Working Group’s products.– Develop and approve the System Requirements document.– Develop and approve the Interface Control document (GIS to MSS).

Operating Rules working Group Charter– Document and approve all the GIS operating rules and procedures.– Submit results to the GIS Design Working Group.

Disclosure Requirements Working Group’s Charter– Define all the disclosures required for the administrator to operate the GIS.– Review of each State and Federal, if any, regulatory requirements and applicable laws that pertain to renewable energy and emissions policies.– Submit results to the GIS Design Working Group and Operating Rules Working Group.

Surveillance Design Working Group’s Charter

– Develop market surveillance requirements.– Submit results to the Operating Rules Working Group.
