We should invent GIKIL’s tagline - a short sentence that summarizes the direct and instantly vocation of our brand,
product or company. With just a few words, a tagline must be understandable, summarize the product or service offering,
build trust, or incite to buy.
Every company hopes to create an advertising tagline for their product or service that stands the test of time, but
Philadelphia's N.W. Ayer & Son was behind one that may last, well, forever. Frances Gerety, a copywriter for the now-defunct
agency, coined "A Diamond is Forever" in 1948 for Johannesburg, South Africa, diamond company DeBeers.
Since the advent of commercial television, corporate taglines, ad slogans, and jingles have been fighting the front-line battle
to penetrate our minds, win our hearts, and open our wallets. Do these so-called brand-bites exercise a profound influence on our
