GIGI, the giraffe

Let me introduce you to some

of Gigi´s friends.

Many different animals live in the forest and among them a very special giraffe, the happiest of all the animals.

Always dancing and making fun of everything, makes Gigi so dear to everyone.

Whenever there is a party, Gigi´s name is always the first on the guest list because she is also gracious, elegant and so very polite. .

There was to be a party on Saturday night and all the animals were very excited, making appointments with dressmakers or tailors,

hairdressers, manicurists and the like. Everyone wanted to be chique and look elegant.

Do I look nice ?

You are so beautiful!

As evening approaches,

they all become so happy and excited expecting the party to

be the best ever.

The ballroom is beautifully decorated, nice food and iced drinks are laid out and the orchestra is playing favorite tunes for everyone to dance.

But “Where is Gigi ?”, “Where is the Queen of the party?”

Has anyone seen Gigi ?

all the guests ask from the dance floor.

The guests begin to look everywhere. Nobody has seen Gigi…

what could have happened?

The cat stops dancing and decides to quickly visit Gigi´s house.

As soon as the cat arrives, it finds Gigi the giraffe crying and sobbing. It is so sad to see. What could be wrong with Gigi to make her cry?

Well, Gigi has a very sore neck and the cat feels so sorry for the pain Gigi is feeling.

The cat rushes back to the party to ask for help.” Could anyone help? ...who?...who?...”,

as the guests talk amongst themselves until they decide that a flock of birds could help Gigi !

WOOPEE!!!

Dr Rabbit gathers all the birds around and tells them that they can help by spreading special cream on Gigi’s very long neck. As the birds each take a little cream and begin to spread it on Gigi’s neck, Gigi stops crying and she even shows a big smile

she tries to move her neck back and forth—and sure enough she feels so much better.

She’s feeling wonderful!!!She’s feeling wonderful!!!

Gigi dresses in her most charming clothes, puts on makeup and… goes to the party.

How happy everyone becomes as Gigi enters the ballroom !

Everyone wants Gigi to be their dancing partner…

Everyone dances samba, rock,

chorinho, reggae until...

sunrise.Then the party is over, time to go home and sleep. How tiring it had been! How sleepy they were...

Wow, I am so

tired ..........
