Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup instant oatmeal
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
cup peanut butter flavored chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Label:
Makes 3 dozen
cookies
In addition to the contents
of the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
CHOCOLATE PEANUTBUTTER OATMEALCOOKIESPreheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl,
blend the butter, egg, and vanilla. Add the contents of the jar,
and stir until well mixed. Drop the dough by heaping
teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing the
cookies about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or
until the edges are light brown in color. Allow to cool for 2
minutes on the baking sheet. Then transfer to wire racks and
cool completely. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight
container for up to 1 week.

Nutty Chocolate Snickerdoodles
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
1 cups all purpose flour
teaspoon baking powder
cup cocoa powder
1 cups sugar
cup finely ground pecans
Label:
Makes 2 dozen
cookies
In addition to the contents of
the jar, you will need the
following ingredients:
cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoons cinnamon
Nutty ChocolateSnickerdoodlesPreheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl,
blend the butter, egg, milk and vanilla extract. Add the
contents of the jar, and blend with an electric mixer set on
medium speed. Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Then roll
the dough into 2-inch balls, and roll in the sugar mixture to
coat. Place the balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking
sheet, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are
light brown in color. Allow to cool for 2 minutes on baking
sheet. Then transfer to wire racks and cool completely. Serve
immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 2
weeks.

Peanutty Rainbow Cookies
Contents to Layer in the Jar:

cup chopped salted peanuts

Apple Muffins
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
2 cups self-rising flour
cup sugar
teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup chopped dried apples
Label:
Makes 15 muffins
In addition to the contentsof the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup milk
cup vegetable oil, such ascanola
1 egg
Apple Muffins
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl,combine the milk, oil, and egg. . Add the contents of the jar,
and stir until well mixed. Do not over stir. Spoon the batter
into greased or prepared baking tins, filling each cup two-
thirds full. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick
inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes
in the tin. Then transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to
1 week.

Banana Nut Bread
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
2 cups all-purpose flour
teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
Label:
Makes 9-inch loaf
In addition to the contents
of the jar, you will needthe following ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
cup solid shortening, such as
Crisco
1/3 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
Banana Nut BreadPreheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl,
blend the bananas, shortening, buttermilk, and eggs. Add the
contents of the jar, and stir until well mixed. Add the
contents of the jar, and stir until well mixed. Do not over stir.
Pour the batter into a greased 9-x-5-inch loaf pan. Bake for
45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of
the loaf comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan,
then remove the bread and cool completely on a wire rack.
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to
1 week.

M&Ms Cookie Mix
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
1 cups sugar
1 cups M&Ms candies; use red and green for Christmas, brown and orange for
Thanksgiving
2 cups flour mixed with teaspoons baking soda and teaspoon baking powder
Label:
Makes 2 dozen
cookies
In addition to the contents
of the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup butter or margarine,
softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
M and M cookiesPreheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl,
empty the contents of the jar using your hands to thoroughly
blend mix. Add cup butter, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Mix until completely blended. Shape into balls the size of
walnuts. Place 2 inches apart on sprayed baking sheets. Bake
for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Allow
to cool.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
cup sugar
cup packed brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins
1 cups oats

the following ingredients:
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Oatmeal Raisin
CookiesWhip 1/2 cup of butter until light and fluffy. Add 1 eggand 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until mixed. Stir in theingredients from this jar until well combined. Drop bytablespoons of dough on a greased cookie sheet. Bakefor 15 minutes at 350F.

Peanut Butter Cookies
Contents to Layer in the Jar:

of the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup butter, softened
cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
Peanut ButterCookies
Empty cookie mix in large mixing bowl; Stir to combine.Add 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup creamy peanutbutter, 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 teaspoon vanilla; Mixuntil completely blended. Roll dough into walnut-sizedballs. Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookiesheet. Bake at 350F for 11 to 13 minutes or until edgesare lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Gooey Turtle Bars
Contents to Layer in the Jar:
1 Cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Label:
Makes 9 bars
In addition to the contentsof the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup melted butter, slightly
cooled
1 jar (11.75 ounces) caramel
topping
Gooey Turtle Bars
Preheat the oven to 35o degrees Fahrenheit. Removethe chocolate chips and pecans from the jar, and set
aside. In a medium sized bowl, combine the vanillawafer crumbs with the melted butter. Transfer themixture to an ungreased 9-x-9 inch baking pan, and usethe back of a fork to press firmly over the bottom andsides of the pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips andpecans evenly over the crumb mixture. Cook thecaramel topping in a microwave oven for 1 minuteson high power. Drizzle the topping over the chocolatechips and pecans and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or untilthe edges are light brown. Cool at room temperature for30 minutes; then refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut Into
bars and serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtightcontainer for up to 2 weeks.

Contents to Layer in the Jar:
1 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cups miniature marshmallows
Label:
Makes 9 bars
In addition to the contents
of the jar, you will need
the following ingredients:
cup melted butter; slightly
cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Smore Bars
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place thecontents of the jar in a large bowl, and stir until wellmixed. Pour the butter and vanilla extract over the dry
ingredients, and stir to mix. Press the dough lightly intoa greased 9-x-9 inch baking pan, using the back of afork, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the top islight brown n color. Cool completely in the pan beforecutting into bars. Serve immediately, or store in anairtight container for up to 1 week.
12
