Gifted Early Learning Academy is not like any other daycare/ pre-school around. Our approach to learning, loving and nurturing environ-ment, clean and modern safety-driven facility and our love for making a difference in children’s lives makes us an extraordinary daycare/early learning academy for your child!

Your child’s early years are a very important time for their growth and development. At this stage, their little minds are wide open, curious, and ready to learn something new each day. Our goal is to effectively help children properly develop the skills they need to be successful later in school and beyond.

At Gifted, we believe that all children are born with genius and talents that are not discovered until they are placed in an environment that al-

lows those characteristics to be seen. We are committed to providing quality childcare and education to children in an environment that

is safe, loving, creative and enriching. We are also committed to creat-ing opportunities where families are a big part of our community.

When children learn to walk, they are called toddlers. The toddler stage is very important in a child's life. It is the time between infancy and childhood when a child learns and grows in many ways. Everything that hap- pens to the toddler is meaningful. During this stage, most children also learn to talk, solve problems, relate to others, and more. One major task for the toddler is to learn to be independent.

TODDLER DAYCARE AND EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM (18 MONTHS TO 2

Toddlers are inquisitive and exploratory by nature, striving for inde-pendence, while curiously exploring the world around them. Our Tod-dler Early Education Program celebrates their uniqueness and en- courages their development.

At this toddler stage, our program focuses on

1. Language and early literacy: In our language rich environment, our toddlers are introduced to listening, speaking, pre-reading and pre-writing skills.

2. Early math and science concepts: While toddlers are investigating the world around them, at this age we introduce them to classify- ing

objects, numerical understanding and spatial relations while also ex-ploring during simple science experiments.

3. Movement and body awareness: Toddlers are always moving and on the go. That’s why we strengthen and refine their small and large muscles while identifying body parts.

4. Social and emotional development: How toddlers view the world and relate to others is very important. We focus on their emotions and behaviors and relationships with others.

TODDLER DAYCARE AND EARLY EDUCATION (1 YEAR OLD AND 2 YEAR OLDS) Toddlers are always on the move, exploring and learning at all times. We provide them with the environment that fosters the right experi-ences at the right time. Our action packed program provides tod-dlers with a schedule that will effectively teach them some of the fol-lowing concepts plus so much more:

1. Language and Literacy Development

a. Imitate proper reading behaviors

b. Build an understanding of words through various interactions

2. Cognitive Development

a. Counting and recognizing quantities

b. b. Sorting and classifying objects

3. Social and Emotional Development

a. Ways to comfort our friends when they’re upset b. Ways to interact with other children

These are only some of the developmental domains we focus on in our toddler program. Our program has been designed to not only give your child a safe environment but also a happy one where tod-dlers will successfully thrive at this stage in their little lives.

Pre-School is when the world begins to open up for our 3 and 4 year olds. This is when their world of discovery becomes much bigger. That’s why at Gifted Early Learning, our goal is to make the most of this stage of children’s lives by using our research-based programs that are designed to effectively impact kids develop-ment.

PRESCHOOL

PREK3 (PRESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 3-4 YEAR OLDS) With improved coordination and thinking the world begins to open up for preschoolers. Our PreK3 program continues to build chil-dren's language, math, and social skills while also introducing them to science, foreign language, and so much more. Your child’s pre- school years are an exciting time of robust language development, and with a strong focus on language and literacy, their experiences in our preschool classroom will contribute to the development of their emerging speaking, reading, and writing skills.

In our PreK3 program, we also focus on

1. Math Concepts: At this stage, math concepts fascinate children. So we provide them with an environment that continually develops their mathematical thinking and quantitive learning.

2. Science Concepts: At this age of curiosity, we constantly engage our preschoolers in research and experimentation, testing hypothe-sis, and making important discoveries.

3. Art and Music: The best way to enhance learning and develop-ment is through artistic exploration. We engage our preschoolers with diverse creative experiences through visual art, music, and the-atrical purposeful play.

4. Healthy Choices: It is important for children at this age to learn healthy choices that will help them practice healthy lifelong habits.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN (PRESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 4-5 YEAR OLDS)

From the toddler stage to now, we have laid down the foundation for your pre-kindergartener. Pre-Kindergarten children are physically and cognitively able to take on more challenges and our whole-child approach will help them advance further in literacy, math and sci-ence while also engaging in the arts, physical activities, foreign lan-guage, and social and emotional activities.

At this stage, we also build up our student’s leadership skills with op-portunities for them to take on certain leadership roles in their classes and at our academy. Pre-Kindergarten is the perfect time for children recognize how they can use their leadership skills to make a difference.

When our pre-kindergartners graduate from our program, they are ready for school.

1. In language and literacy they will use their vast vocabulary to ef-fectively communicate daily. They will also gain and understand- ing of how the ABCs they’ve learned contributes to building words through reading and writing.

2. Numerical concepts and mathematical thinking is all around pre- kindergartners. We ensure that children don’t simply learn numbers by routine, but instead build a mathematical understanding to de-velop quantitative reasoning, solve problems, and use math in real and meaningful ways.

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE AND SUMMER CAMPS

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE Beginning in August 2017, Gifted will be offering after-school care for students age 5-12 that are enrolled in school at some of our neighboring elementary campuses. We know how important it is for students to receive quality after-school care and we have developed our after-school program to promote intellectual, physical, and social competence.

We will provide homework assistance, extracurricular activities and much more. We will enrich learning opportunities in a fun environ-ment for maturing school-age children.

Our After-School Care program will be offered from August to May. This will also include school holidays and closings.

SUMMER CAMPS Our summer day camps will leave your kids talking way past sum-mer! Every summer at Gifted, we will plan a summer camp that will be academically enriching, physically motivating and socially excit-ing. The summer is a time for kids to relax and enjoy themselves af-ter working hard all year long. And we will do this through weekly themed activities and field trips.
