Death Bomb

What’s huge , fiery ,and red all over? A volcano! Volcanoes are huge crusty killer mountains , some people call a death bomb.

Now you’re going to read about how a death bomb is formed. I’m going to tell you about how a volcano is formed. A volcano is formed by cracks or holes in the Earths surface. Inside the cracks or holes is magma.

There three main types of volcanoes ;active ,extinct ,and dormant. Active volcanoes can be really dangerous. Active means that it might be blowing up right now. Extinct volcanoes are quiet and peaceful so they never explode. Dormant volcanoes are like being asleep for a while so they might erupt any day now!

90% of the worlds active volcanoes are in the Pacific Ocean. Do you know what else is in the Pacific Ocean, THE RING OF FIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRE!!!!!!! The Ring Of Fire is a ring of volcanoes on the continental plate.

Wait a minute , I feel something hot. It’s, It’s, It’s, LAVA!!!!!!!!

Fountain of Lava!!!!!

There’s only one kind of fountain a volcano has. That is a fountain of bursting lava!!! Now I’m going to talk about lava. No , no , no not magma , lava. Lava is actually magma that reaches the surface of the volcano.

The lava’s temperature is seven to twelve times what boiling water is. That’s super hot lava. It’s so hot that you can make a lot of popcorn. Lava is like fire so let’s grab some hotdogs and roast them.

Wait. Rumble, Rumble, Rumble!!!!! There’s a volcano about to erupt!!!!!!

Rumble, Ruble, Rumble!!! Boom!!! You are going to read about what happens when a volcano erupts.

Magma collects from pockets deep underground. The pressure forces the pockets of the magma through the rocks, creating and eruption. This is also when magma turns into lava and destroys everything in its path.

Volcanoes can erupt rarely, occasionally, or constantly. When a volcano erupts rarely, it doesn’t erupt that much. When a volcano erupts occasionally, it erupts once in a while. When a volcano erupts constantly, it erupts all the time. Wouldn’t you think it would run out of lava?

Here comes an eruption and another one. This is how a mountain is formed. I’ll explain about it later.

This is a section where we’re going to read about how a volcano builds a mountain.

When lava hardens from eruption after eruption, it begins to create layers. Then it begins to get bigger and bigger and bigger, forming a mountain. It also might create new life.

Welcome to Damage or Growth, today we’ll be talking what a volcano does to the Earth’s surface. When lava shoots out of a volcano it can destroy a lot of things like trees houses and life.

It can also can build a mountain creating land and life. After a eruption, the lava cools , forming land and fertile soil, creating nutrients for new plants to grow. That’s crazy! Can you believe that a volcano can build land? That’s impossible!!!!

world. Today we’re going to talk about how a volcano builds or destroys the Earth.

Remember earlier I mentioned the ring of fire well I didn’t give you all of the information. 452 volcanoes are located in the Ring of Fire. Only fifty percent of it is the earth’s active and dormant volcanoes.

May 18th, 1980, Mount St. Helens erupted and killed 57 people. The damage caused 1.2 billion dollars. That must have been a lot of damage. This is the end of my project. I’d hope you had fun learning about volcanoes. Bye
