The italian designer GIANNI SEGATTA moved his first steps in the leather goods world since his childhood working as a shoemaker.During his youth he attended the Art Institute and lived in Milan in the middle of the vibrant artistic climate of the ‘70s.Studies and long journeys helped him to know new realities and cultures.In 1974 he registered his brand and started to create exclusive bags and shoes inside his first Atelier in Venice.In the following years, thanks to his energy and talent he worked for big companies and travelled for them all over the world, learning techniques and secrets to create quality products.Since 2007 he created his own brand to develop his ideas and his bags without constraints or seasonal fashions.

Today GIANNI SEGATTA is a well-known designer who also works for worldwide famous brands but focusing his energy and creativity leading a design Studio in Padova (Italy).

GIANNI SEGATTA brand supplies a qualified number of fashion boutiques in Italy and Europe. The use of traditional techniques mixed with an innovative design create products that appeal the world of exclusivity.

in 2011 GIANNI SEGATTA began the construction of a specialized workshop and he is working to set up a new showroom that will be located nearby the design studio, in the north of Padova, italy.

Gianni Segatta design studio and workshop develop graphics, drawings, photography, interior design and can follow both the style and production aspects.

The style team works on material sourching, analysis of fashion trends and the creation of collection’s drawings (technical and emotional ) of bags, belts and small leather goods both for men and women.

The workshop team develops the proto-samples.

Segatta Design also works on graphic advertisements for brands:photoshooting of the products with post-production, development of logos, catalogues, brochure, business cards, magazines layout and every kind of advertisement material both on paper and web ( graphic interfaces, graphic customization for social network, online magazines ).

GIANNI SEGATTA wants to tease your fantasy with unconventional products that reflecttemper and personality rather than the fashion market conventions.Each product is wholly handmade following traditional techniques, using machineries as little aspossible. The materials are naturally treated leather or precious ones like ostrich, crocodile, python and organic materials like silk, linen, cottons, straw and wool.Trendy styles combined with eco-friendly products and techniques showing GIANNI SEGATTA great concern about environmental impact.

Gianni Segatta personally worked on the construction and decoration of his brand-shops.Most of the furniture inside is handmade. Every detail is refined and tidy. This unique style, that combines luxury and vintage elements, is the main distinctive mark of an uncommon artist

_PROCESSING & MANUFACTURING_

On GIANNI SEGATTA products the handicraft work prevails. Every single bag is followed during all its production steps, from cutting of the leather to the finishing by well experienced workers that have inherited the skills of an artisan work.
