The little town of Seebert is only a short walking distance
from your cabin. In Seebert, you will fi nd everything from
a general store to a historic church,

Our Cabins are nestled just between the lazy fl owing
of the river and the excitement of the Greenbrier River
Trail. Newly remodeled and completely furnished with
all the amenities that will make your time on the river
worry free, their rustic wooden charm offers the per-
fect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.
If you don’t feel like cooking in your modern kitchen,
head out to the spacious decks and enjoy a riverside
barbecue. After a hearty dinner, you’ll wind down from
a full day in front of a roaring fi re. Slip into our fresh
linens and comfortable beds to fall asleep to the music
of the river murmuring past your open windows. Cabins
comfortably sleep 2 to 10 guests, so they’re just the
right size no matter what the occasion.

Explore Watoga State Park
The Greenbrier River Bike Trail, West Virginia’s most
successful rail conversion, offers 78 miles of scenic
mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country
skiing, and hiking along the banks of the beautiful
Greenbrier River. Mountain Biking Magazine has rated
West Virginia as the 4th best mountain biking destina-
tion in the state. In addition, Pocahontas County has
the best mountain biking in the state! Outdoor Explorer
Magazine describes the trail as “One of the finest rural
trails in America, a 78-mile delight!” Blue Ridge Out-
door Magazine named the bike trail the Number One
“rail trail” in the Southeastern United States. Best of
all, it’s within a few FEET of your back door!
Sightseeing is a must in Pocahontas County. Experi-
ence the Civil War at Droop Mountain State Park,
where you can still find musket balls on the trail. On
the Highland Scenic Highway, West Virginia’s “Skyline
Drive,” enjoy spectacular views of Cranberry Glades
and Williams River. At the falls of Hills Creek, you’ll
find three of the loveliest water falls from a boardwalk
that’s nearly a mile long. At the Pearl Buck Birthplace
Museum, hosts greet you in period dress to guide you
through an earlier way of life. Explore Beartown, a state
park with huge rock formations and towering boulders.
Enjoy world class skiing at Snowshoe where fresh deep
snow entices from November to April. Pocahontas
County has more State Parks and Forests than any oth-
er West Virginia county. We’re In the Heart of it all!
Watoga State Park, built by the CCC boys during the Great Depression, provides you with more than 10,000 acres of fun. It’s just across the river from your cabin, so you can walk or bike there. The largest park in the state, you’ll find a lake, paddle boats, restaurant, swim-ming pool, recreation and museum center, naturalist, Ann Bailey Lookout Tower, and miles of hiking trails.
