What struck, challenged or encouraged you in the teaching from God’s word on Sunday?

What do you think about authority claims? How have the events of the last couple of weeks effected that? Is there a risk of that effecting the way you view Jesus’s call on your life?

What is surprising and refreshing about Jesus’ authority in 21-28? In what ways is it different to the authority claims of the world? What clarity might this bring to our position when we resist Jesus’ authority?

Jesus says “Come, follow me” What would it look like for you to do that today? When Jesus calls there’s no holds barred, what are you in danger of holding back from Jesus? Jesus call is immediate, where are you delaying?
