Step 1: Plug your headset.

+Step 2: Locate your links from the email you received regarding Blackboard Collaborate.
This is your moderator link. Click on it to launch Blackboard
Collaborate.
This is your student link. Make this URL
available to your students through email or as a button on your
course site.
+Step 3. Click on your moderator link to launch Bb Collaborate.
+Step 4. Allow access.
+Step 5. Explore the various buttons.
Click on Talk button when you want to
speak.
Click on Video button
to launch camera and
show yourself
Whiteboard Tools
Chat Window.
Type “Hello” and press
enter.
WhiteboardShare Applications, e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel
+Step 6: Click on Tools > Audio > Audio Set-up Wizard to make sure your sound is working properly. Follow the prompts.
+Step 7. Type a mock lesson / agenda on your whiteboard. Or upload a PowerPoint presentation.
Click on the textbox tool, then click on the
white board. Type words for a pretend
lesson.
Or upload a PowerPoint presentation by clicking
on LOAD CONTENT.
+Step 8. Click START and record a mock session.
Click on RECORD or START to start
recording.
+Step 9: Click on Recording button to stop. You’ll get an email of the link to your recording.

Step 10: Close the window to end your session.
