What to focus on in your first 30-60 days

This is the first training to take to learn the basics of starting your Alphay business.

Use this PDF as the companion for the full 45-minute Getting Started Training video.

Keep it simple. This training is for any Alphay Distributor who has just signed up.

It will teach you what to learn, what to focus on, and what to do in your first month or two.

Later on, you can expand your learning and skills. For now, three things:

1. Read this Getting Started PDF, & watch the Getting Started video, on LingzhiAcademy.com

2. Create your List. Create a short invitation. Then send out 2-3 invitations per day.

3. Your first goal: sign up 3 Distributors and 3 Customers in your first 30 days (Power3).

Worth repeating: your goal in your first 30 says is to sign up 3 Distributors (PSDs) 3 Customers.

Even if you’re already past your first 30 days, refocus on getting 3 new Distributors, and then helping each of those PSDs of yours to get to “three and three” (their Power3).Repetition is important to learning and a big part of your Alphay success, so read this PDF and watch the Getting Started video multiple times in the coming weeks. The key to your Alphay success: get into invitation action, and stay in this steady action. Action in Alphay means invite someone new each day to partner with you in this Alphay home-based business.

Everything you learn here will come down to teaching you to do these basic steps:

Steps to Success: 1. Invite Potential Business Candidates. From your Names List, invite potential candidates to

consider being a part of this team. Work from your list. Craft your invitation specifically to each and every person. Be strategic. Include one of the Alphay overview videos for them to review.

2. Upline Q&A Meeting. For those candidates who show an interest or have questions, set up each one to meet your upline on a live, scheduled, 10-minute video conference call, designed so they can see you’re part of a team, and to answer any questions, objections, concerns.

3. Decision. Through this Q&A Meeting, your upline will help your candidate come to a decision. There are only three: No, Maybe, or Yes.

4. Training - For those who say Yes, sign them up as a Distributor and have them take this Getting Started Training. All versions—the PDF, the video, and even a live version by your upline. This gets them on these same Steps of Success: Invite, Upline Meeting, Decision, and Training.

Preliminary notesBefore getting into how to build your group, let’s cover:

A. How to Enroll someone

B. Decide on Status Level

C. Set up so you get paid fully

D. The Get Ready Checklist

A. Enrollment

Enroll at your sponsor’s website✦ www.JoinAlphay.com/ their-unique-name or✦ www.ZhiCell.com/ their-unique-name

You’ll only need to go to your sponsor’s website one time, just to sign up. After that, you’ll be given your own Alphay website.

Choose your own unique domain nameDuring enrollment, you will choose your own unique name:

✦ No spaces, keep it simple and easy to tell others. It’s not case-sensitive. ✦ If it hasn’t already been chosen, you can use it. Choose carefully, it can’t be changed.

You’ll automatically be given three websites: ✦ for your Customers ----------------------------: www.GetAlphay.com/your-unique-name✦ for your Distributors ---- (business builders): www.JoinAlphay.com/your-unique-name✦ for both Customers & Distributors: ----------------- www.ZhiCell.com/your-unique-name

Feel free to only use the ZhiCell website since you can use it to sign up both your Customers and your Distributors.

B. Decide on Status LevelBefore you or any of your people enroll in Alphay, be sure they understand Status Level.

Have everyone watch the 8-minute Order Options Video: https://youtu.be/ZpjhAtTVxA8If you are involved in Alphay to make money, try to enroll at the 15% Status Level. At the 10% or 5% Status Levels, you earn 1/3 or 2/3 less commissions on your weekly Placement Team bonus. Some key points on Status Level:

✦ Status Level is determined by size of your very first order. Or special Upgrade Order within 8 weeks.✦ Status Level determines the size of your weekly Placement Team Bonus, which comes from the total

of the First/Upgrade orders that occur in your Placement Tree each week. ✦ Status Level has just 3 levels: 5% (≈ $249) - 10% (≈ $499) - 15% (≈ $999)✦ If you or any of your future team need to start with the 5% or 10%, that’s fine. But have them aware

there’s exactly 8 calendar weeks to upgrade to the 15% through a special 1-time Upgrade Order. Write that date down in your calendar, and let your sponsor know it, too.

Coming in at 5% or 10% is fine. Just know the 8-week limitAnyone with $35 can start an Alphay business and tap into an unlimited earning potential. For that $35, Distributors get a website, an online office, and physical and digital training tools. You can earn great money even at 0% Status. Like anything in life, though, the more you invest the bigger the return. “BV” (bonus volume) refers to our Alphay point volume. You will custom order your investment to equal the volume listed below by adding wholesale priced products to your order. Placement Team Commission (PTC) is one of 13 ways Alphay pays its distributors. It is the commission from which you will earn weekly checks.Never let anyone believe that “they don’t have enough money to start an Alphay Business.”

Ask your sponsor for the PDF that shows some 15% Status Level suggestions. Choose any à la carte suggestions, as long as the total is 700 points worth of product.

C. Set up so you get paid fully

1) Activate Cumulative Volume: get onto autoship How: do this by getting onto Autoship with at least 1 bottle/month.

Why: so that Cumulative Volume doesn’t get deleted. Your sponsor can place their upcoming PSDs into one side of your organization. When those placed Distributors (as well as each new Distributor their entire organization, to infinity) places a First/Upgrade Order, that volume accumulates on that one side of your organization, and that helps you get paid your Status Level worth of Placement Team bonus each week. That volume will start to accrue, and is called Cumulative Volume. Cumulative Volume will stay as long as you remain on Autoship. It gets deleted if you get off autoship. Autoship also begins to give you 10% discount on products.

Log into your Back Office: Order tab (upper left): New Autoship (lower left). Set up your autoship there. You can set the particular date you’d like your autoship to ship. There is no need to be on Autoship in first 30 days (since your first order handles that requirement). Just mark your calendar and get onto Autoship in your 5th week.

2.) Activate Weekly Payout. How: do this by placing a PSD (Personally Sponsored Distributor) on your Right Side and your Left Side. Why: until you (and every Distributor) has one PSD in each side of their Placement Tree, they don't receive First/Upgrade Order bonuses, which can be substantial. Find out which side (Right side or Left side) your sponsor is placing their overflow of their own PSDs into. Place one of your first PSDs into that same side. Then, place your next PSD (and all of the rest of them) into the opposite side, and then important: go to your Back Office and set your default side to be this opposite side (Setting tab: Placement Information Preferred Placement: choose Bottom Left or Bottom Right, whichever is the opposite of your Sponsor's overflow side).3. By doing this, each person gets themselves up to Gold Pin Rank, and that pushes you up to Emerald. At Emerald, you get a $5,000 cash bonus.

3.) Put your sights on Power3Power3 (aka P3) is signing up 3 Distributors & 3 Customers in your first 30 days.

The 3 Distributors count if they come in at 5%, 10%, or 15%. The 3 Customers count even if they just order a box of tea, or coffee, or anything.

Watch all the Compensation Plan videos on the Lingzhi Academy, and write down any questionsBe aware of the importance of Status Level (5%, 10%, and 15%)Coming in at 5% or 10% is fine; if you do, your last final 8-week upgrade date to 15% is: ______Be clear on Placement Team and Sponsor Team

Placement Team is how you earn on First/Upgrade ordersSponsor Team is how you earn money on all repeat orders after the First/Upgrade orders

Ask Sponsor which Placement Tree side (Right or Left) they will place their overflow of PSDs into. Set up opposite side as your default position in your back office (ask Sponsor for help on this)You need one Active PSD on each side. So place your first 2 PSDs on either side (one left, one right)Weekly Placement Team bonus requires one active PSD on each side, but then set up your default to the opposite of your Sponsor’s overflow side. How to set your default Placement Tree placement: 1. Log into your Back Office at members.alphay.com2. Click on the Setting tab (located across the top)3. Make a List

Work from a list of people whose lives you want to change.

You are in the invitation business.

Every thing you do hinges on your ability to form a team. Forming this team comes down to making invitations.

Your Potential Team Candidates list is the key to your success. Work from a list of people whose lives you want to change. Get the names out of your head and down on paper. Think of everyone you know who might benefit from our Lingzhi formulas, or would benefit from Alphay’s career opportunity. To get into the flow, write down everyone, even the people you’re absolutely 100% certain will not be good candidates for the health benefits or the business.

Invitation MindsetOnce the ‘aha’ happens, where you realize that to make amazing success in Alphay, you must move from product sharer to being a serious and direct inviter of your Alphay business, a couple of insights are needed: 1. Being in the invitation and recruiter mindset doesn’t take more time. On the contrary, it’ll take less time, but a completely different laser focus in your conversations. 2. You need to get really comfortable presenting to more people.

Getting Comfortable with InvitationsThe entire key to contacting lots of people is to create the mindset that isn’t a lot different from “Hey, we got tickets to a great resort next month, want to come with us?” In fact, until you get to that comfort level, you won’t ever write down everyone’s name who you could possibly contact, or you will get all weird when you finally contact them. To get to that comfort level, there are some critical mindsets to embody:

MINDSET: See and feel the noble mission behind what you’re building. Think of what you’re building as a quest, a calling, a purpose bigger than you, a life’s work that has the chance to build relationships and support and breaks down barriers and improves lives, and adds years to people’s lifetime. When you fully embody this perspective, contacting others to see if joining your team is right for them will not feel anywhere close to a chore, but a mission. Until you see the nobleness of our Alphay team mission, you will always hesitate. Not only in coming up with names but also in contacting them.

Do you know how many people hate what they do? Dreading waking up Monday morning, dragging themselves to a job that uplifts nothing. Do you know what increased prosperity does to a person, their family, the people around them? See yourself as part of a health and wealth movement. Lingzhi will extend the quality and lifespan of thousands of people. Picture 10 people on a stage 2 years from now, telling a crowd of thousands how if you had not spoken to them about Alphay, and taught them the skills of team building, they would never be experiencing their amazing success.

You will know you see and feel nobleness of this mission when building your team is the last thing you think about at night and the first thing upon waking.

MINDSET: See the power in building a team. Ever watch sports? Then you know that the winning teams are less about having all the best players, and more about the coach who recruited the team of individuals and taught them how to pull together in one direction. That’s what you and I are doing here: we’re finding individuals who want more out of life, and teaching them a system of pulling together. They don’t have to be the best players (far from it), just as we don’t have to be Serena Williams or LeBron James.

MINDSET: You don’t care if they say no. You only care that you invited them. When you free yourself from caring if the actual person you are contacting says yes, you will contact a lot more people. The purpose becomes bigger than them. It becomes a way to declare what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, how you’re doing it, letting people know you’re doing it, and seeing if they know anyone who wants what you have. See your invitation as a way to practice contacting and hearing back any response, and practicing following up.

If done correctly, those candidates who give a solid "no" can become a force for your success. Gently back off, change the subject, re-establish your relationship on all other aspects... and then go to work and create

an amazing residual income. Then, once you have some financial success and a ton of skills in team building under your belt, re-approach those no's in another six months. Rejection is your ally. Not your adversary. If handled properly, rejection will expedite your team search and actually set you up for a positive outcome.

MINDSET: It’s not who you know; it’s who they know. The most powerful way to get the word out about your business is to ask people if they know anyone for whom it’d be a good fit. Here’s an example:

Sandy, I want to shift gears here, and talk with you about career and money. Last month I joined the first adaptors to the North American branch of a health product company. It’s the biggest opportunity of my lifetime and I need to start building a team that wants to work with us. Do you know anyone with past network marketing experience? Do you know anyone with backgrounds in sales or entrepreneurship or who you think would be a good partner fit for me? Please pass on our recruitment video (www.website ) or make an introduction to me. It may not be right for them, but they may know someone for whom it is. Thank you, Sandy. Any help would be much appreciated.

Note the clarity of what you’re doing and what you need and why you are asking them.

Note that it really is less about them, and more about anyone they know. Note the use of a short video, since it shortcuts the whole story to just a few minutes.

Note that you’re already saying that it’s obvious it may not be right for them, but they may know someone that it IS right for.

Note the declaration feel of it. Every time you invite someone, you want to get that shot of endorphins that comes when stating your objectives and your vision.

Once the joy of signing up a 15% Recruiter recedes after the first hour, remember this: the power isn’t in them. It’s in who they know; it’s in their network. And the power really is in their network, and then those people’s network.Attrition is a fundamental reality in any business. Alphay is no exception. Let people do what they want to do. Oftentimes, your true recruiters won’t be the people you sign up (your Level 1), but the people they sign up (your Level 2 or 3). You don’t care, it’s all the same to you. There's a place for all levels of participation in Alphay, including not participating. It's all part of a well-balanced organization. Your only job is to protect your mindset. Stay focused on where you want to go, and what you are building.

MINDSET: Think degrees of separation.Think about members of your family. Who do they know? Add them to your list. Think about your friends. Who do they know? Add them to your list. Think about all the relationships in your life. Who do they know? Add them to your list.

This is often not the right career path for people you know; it’s the right one for people they know.

Page 11: Getting Started Training v8 · 2017-01-31 · Keep it simple. This training is for any Alphay Distributor who has just signed up. It will teach you what to learn, what to focus on,

MINDSET: Pay attention to timing. Be strategic with each one. Don’t assault those on your List with your pitch the moment you think of them or are introduced (or re-introduced). Have respect for the way humans process information. Pay attention to the right timing. Some people in Alphay make that mistake and it’s not good. Just add them to your list, make friends or reconnect with old ones, develop a connection, and when the time is right—today? a month from now after a dozen connections?—you can help them understand what you have to offer, and ask if they know anyone for whom it’s right.Be strategic with each and every contact.

Think a bit about each person you’re contacting. “What is the way that I can speak to this person so that they’re intrigued? So that they respect my request? So that my invite is a natural part of the conversation and relationship we are in?”

Rules for ListMake a list and then make it as comprehensive as possible. Every person you can think of. EVERY person. It doesn’t matter if you think they are a prospect or not. Your database is one of your most important assets. Everyone goes on the list.

If they are negative, put them on your list. If you hate them, put them on your list. If they are your best friend, put them on your list. If they’ve said “I’ll never be involved in Alphay or Networking or Sales or Network Marketing,” put them on your list. If they’re 98 years old, put them on your list. If they’re 18 years old, put them on your list.

You may NEVER contact your nephew, and that wasn’t the point of putting them into your list. The point is to empty your mind out on paper, it will make more room for new contacts to come. When you write down your nephew, you begin to think about the circle around your nephew. All of these connections will become apparent to you as you make your list more and more comprehensive. Think about everything. Every organization you’ve ever been involved in, every group you’ve ever been a part of, everything you’ve ever done.

Constantly expand your list. This is why the professionals call this an “Active Candidate List.” It never stops growing. The Pros have a goal to add at least 2 people to their list every single day. They may not prospect them! But they go on the list as a mental reminder of “who do they know?” and a way to clear the mind.

If you think about this as a core skill, you’ll realize it isn’t very hard. You come into contact with people every day. Just add them to your list. You meet people through online social media. Add them to your list. You do business with new people. Add them to your list.

You need to develop a higher level of awareness. You’re going to have to pay attention to the world. You’re going to be introduced to new people all the time, but posers and amateurs don’t even notice. They just go through their day saying “What people? I don’t see any people.”To help get names out of your head and down into your List, use these two naming systems to jog your mind: The 4 Animals, and the 4 Categories.

4 Animal Types: which person are they?

WhaleThese are supporters and uplifters of the world; their driving force is to help others. Whales tend not to be flashy or ostentatious in dress or their possessions. They often wear comfortable, earth-toned clothes. Helpful to a fault, Whales are inspired to greatness by knowing how much of a difference they can make in others' lives. Above all else, they want to know that anything they are involved in is helping a greater good.

To inspire a Whale in your business invitation, use words like help, honesty, people, caring, love, deserve (as in: "you deserve this because of all you've done for others"). Stay away from discussions of the pursuit of money for its own sake. Be relaxed and nonthreatening in your stance and demeanor, speak slowly and invite them to speak about the things they want to achieve.

Because they tend to be focused on others to the exclusion of self, the Whale ironically, may not see the value in the service they themselves provide and may undervalue what it is they do.

To invite a Whale to partner with you, frame the partnership as one that will lead to a sense of fulfillment through providing service to others. Show Alphay’s mission, soul, the people involved.

DolphinThe Dolphin’s prime directive is being inspired by fun, enthusiasm, happiness and energy! They are searching for freedom, fun, recognition. Optimistic; loves talking, people, natural leaders. They are outgoing and spontaneous and are inspired by the pursuit of a good time. To inspire Dolphins, use words like fun, party, enjoyment, and freedom. When speaking with them, you’ll get their attention by being animated, expressive and enthusiastic. To invite a Dolphin to partner with you, frame the partnership as one that will be fun, and lead to enjoyment.

UrchinThe Urchin have a prime directive of being inspired by information, understanding, details, ideas, facts, data and knowledge. They are the searchers for truth, details, proof of purity. The Urchins in your life tend to pride themselves on their intelligence and are quite analytical in their approach to life, people and situations. They value being right over being popular.

To inspire an Urchin, use words like smart, information, facts, documentation, proven, absolute certainty, and intelligence.

When sending an invitation, you've got to be certain of what you're saying from a factual standpoint and accurate in your statement of figures and statistics. Urchins respect and are inspired by intelligence in others.

SharkThe Shark’s driving force is being inspired by wealth, money, competition power, prestige and status. Show Alphay’s comp plan and how stable we are.To inspire a Shark, use words like "best", "competition", "money", "control", "excellence", and "power.” Sharks do better in professions which reward the pursuit of wealth and status, perfect for Alphay. They make great salespeople, stockbrokers, bankers, investors and are born leaders driven by wealth, prestige, and independence. Achievement has value to them, and therefore they can offer it to those who seek the same in their lives.

The Four Categories You Want

1. "I'd love to work with that Person" list ✦ These are people who make you think, “I would really love to partner with that person.” ✦ We'd have so much fun (if they're a Dolphin). ✦ We'd make so much money (if they're a Shark). ✦ We'd change people's lives worldwide (if they're mainly a Whale).

2. “This person would be so good at Alphay's opportunity" list ✦ Natural networkers, business-centric, great people skills, familiar with network marketing.

3. "This person really needs Alphay's opportunity and/or products" list✦ Tired of their career, desiring wealth, desiring another lifestyle.

4. "I met this person" list ✦ Strangers, whom you have now met. This can be one of the richest places to tap.

Categorize your List into A, B, C teams: A team ------- those who are the first you’ll contact. You’re most excited about these people.B team ------- those you’ll contact in a month or three, once you really develop your skills.

C team ------- these are your ‘later’ or ‘never’ people. You’ll contact them once you’re making a lot of money, maybe even never. But they’re in your list.

The point is: put everyone’s name down, even if you never invite them.

Jogging Your MemoryInstructions: As you go through each of these mental joggers, think of someone, and type in their name on your list. Don’t fret, you don’t ever have to contact people you put into your list. The object is to free associate and get everyone out of your brain and into your list. Do NOT prejudge people as you go. Just put their name down no matter what. The act of writing it will help to trigger more and more contacts.

Create an InvitationYou’ve got your List of potential candidates. You’ve got a start of a vision of where you want to be. You even have your first month’s goal of at least 3 PSDs and 3 Customers. Now... what do you say to people? Or what do you show them?

Building a network means you’ll be contacting people about the products and about the business. Sometimes both at the same time, sometimes completely separately.

To do that effectively, it helps to know what you’ll say. Call it your script, or job description, or 30 second pitch. An email, a live conversation, a phone call, an impromptu meeting.

Treating all potential candidates the same yields poor results. Read this sentence again—this is not only a statistical fact by businesses worldwide, it’s any human’s personal experience.

Create enough rapport with each potential business prospect so that you can communicate some semblance of the following:

I have a favor to ask, or more, just a request to keep in mind over the coming season. Earlier last year, I joined and I'm now full time as the sole master distributor for a company called Alphay, and in November was upped to National Trainer. In the network marketing world, it's as big a deal as we get. I'm now working to build my team.I suspect you may not normally run in that particular marketing crowd, but with six degrees of separation, I wanted to ask if you know anyone with past classic network marketing experience, or someone with a background in sales or entrepreneurship who you think would be a good partner with us. Please keep it in mind. My team has created a short recruitment video, (www.thelink) which describes who I'm looking for. For those in this particular market, it's the dream gig, and it'll be a great ride over the next 8-10 years. Again, just tuck it away in the event you know someone looking.

The key with any communication is to use the words that are yours. The minute you speak in someone else's rhythm and tone, you lose people. Invitations and contact scripts are for clarity, not manipulation. So find your cadence, your words, and use those. Pick and choose and mix and match from below. Just don't do a lot more than tell them you're in a new business direction and want them to watch this video.  One at a time, as if you were interviewing them for a job—invite these candidates with an invitation like this (or some variation of it):

Where are you at in your career, Amy? ...... How is that going.... are you wanting more? Would you like to work together? I don't know if Bob mentioned it...  I have a proposition for you to consider... "Don't know if I mentioned it, but I have a whole new direction in my career. After 30 years as a ...., I'm now going online and international, and joined a team. We should talk. Take a look. Let me know if it sparks any interest. It'd be so fun to work together on this one. May not be for you, but you'd be good at this.... Let me know if it sparks any interest or questions. I want to change gears: I don't know if you knew this, but for the past few years, I've been looking for another career.

GO! The 4 Steps

Using your sorted List, starting with the A group, invite a few people each day using this process:

The 4 Steps: 1. Invite. From your Names List, invite potential candidates who want a better

lifestyle. Work from your list. Craft your invitation specifically to each and every person. Be strategic. Include one of the recruitment videos.

2. Brief Upline Q&A Meeting. Put each candidate in front of your upline on a live, scheduled, 10-minute video conference call, designed so they can see you’re part of a team, and to answer any questions, objections, concerns.

3. Decision. Through this, help your candidate come to a decision. There’s only three: No, Maybe, or Yes.

4. Training - As soon as you get a new PSD, get them trained by your upline with a live Getting Started Training. This gets them focused on Power3, their name list,

Page 21: Getting Started Training v8 · 2017-01-31 · Keep it simple. This training is for any Alphay Distributor who has just signed up. It will teach you what to learn, what to focus on,

Step 1. Invite

Invite potential candidates to look at Alphay as a career (use any of the videos)

Divide your List into people you want to contact about the Alphay opportunity and Customers. For your potential business candidates, follow the 4 steps below. Invite Business BuildersEmail your invitation. One at a time, invite potential team candidates to review one of the Alphay overview videos currently out there (see the list at the end of this training). You can send out 3-10 invitations a day, but don’t overdo it. Test to see if what you’re doing is working.

- Use a video for at least part of your invitation. Avoid trying to over-explain what Alphay is. Use the video to talk for you.

- One at a time. No blasting on Facebook, or to multiple people at once. Why? Because it’s not effective. You are looking at one candidate at a time.Response backAfter a candidate watches the video and hears why you’re involved and why you believe they’d be a good candidate, if they have any objections, questions, ideas, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, OR excitement.... whatever their response, the next step of the process is Step 2: Meet the Team.Hear their response (positive or negative), and then say "These are great questions/concerns. The next step of this process is to meet the team. I'm too new to answer all that, but my team can. Let's set up a time to meet them."

Have them give you a couple times, email them to your Leadership team (your sponsor, upline, etc), and they will email back a time that works, along with the video conference call link. No response? Get Closure. If one of your candidates doesn't respond back within a few days, get closure. Closure is done so that both of you can get a solid no or yes, and so that the relationship can move forward, regardless of the answer. Closure is an important human condition that closes open communication loops. It's extremely important professionally and even more important for the friendship. A solid "no" is a great thing, and it's important the candidate know you appreciate that Alphay's not right for everyone.

Some closure options, depending on the context/person: "Hi Eric, hope all is well. I'm calling to see what you thought of the idea of working together. Let me know your thoughts on teaming up, and if the video sparked any interest. And I completely appreciate if it's not something for you. Let me know either way."

Step 2: Q&A with your Upline Team

Introduce each candidate to the Upline on a live video conference for Q&A1. Ask your candidate for 2-3 time slots that they are available for a 15 minute video call.

2. Determine the time zone. “Joe can do a call at 4:00pm Central time."

3. Email those times and time zone to your upline team.

4. Upline will email you back - the Zoom video conference link - some homework to watch and read before the call. 5. Forward this email info to your candidate.

6. Be sure that the candidate: - sets up Zoom at least 15 minutes before call to go through audio/video settings - watches the two videos (Comp Plan, and 15% Status Level)

Call OutlineThe Leadership Q&A Call is a video conference call, approximately 10 minutes, that is the next step of the discovery process for both the candidate and the Leadership team. The purpose of the Team Call Q&A is to see if Alphay would be a good fit for the candidate. Also: - candidate meets the team they would be working with if they came on board. - Leadership team finds out about candidate. - candidate finds out who we are. - candidate expresses any objections, questions, excitement, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, etc.- Leadership asks a series of questions. - End call with candidate as a Yes, No, or a Maybe.

Call Agenda1. Contact Person introduces the Leadership team, and says something positive about them. 2. Contact Person introduces the candidate.

3. Leadership team asks questions such as: What's your interest in Alphay? From the videos you have watched, what resonated with you so far? Any questions, concerns?

Note: some of the positive introduction and information can happen before the Team Call. The contact person can send the Team Call team a few insights about the candidate prior to the call (not copying the candidate), and the contact person can email the candidate about the team.Avoid MLM speak on the Team Call Interview. No use of sponsor, upline, etc. Use first names instead of upline, and contact person instead of sponsor.

3. Decision: Yes • No • Maybe

Help them (and you) get to a yes, no, or maybeThe ultimate purpose of the Team Call Q&A Call is to help the candidate get to one of the three possible decisions: Yes. No. Maybe.

No Gentle probing to see if their NO is solid or more of an unconscious objection that could be answered. No pushing, though. If the candidate is clear this isn't for them, we quickly close the call with a thanks for at least reviewing the video.

There is never a suggestion on the call to try out the products. The Team Call Q&A Call is strictly a professional hiring process. Not a consumer creating process.

After the call, the contact person is welcome to contact the candidate with, "You should try these products, so you can see what all the excitement is about/ to see why I'm altering my career path to join this team." MaybeAll Maybes come down to "I need more information." If the objections, questions, excitement, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, etc. can be handled on the Q&A call, we will do so. If the information needed requires more time (reading, viewing, thinking about, gathering information), the Leadership team will make suggestions to the contact person to give to the candidate. Examples:

✦ questions on: Alphay as a company (tenure, expertise, science, purity, potency, financial stability, global expansion), send facts about Alphay.

✦ questions on Network Marketing or Alphay products (does it work? legit?), send sample testimonials, 3rd party resources about Network Marketing model.

The Leadership team will ask: " What information do you need from us in order to make a decision?"Schedule a "Decision Call"

Before hanging up, the Leadership team will ask to schedule a "Decision Call" for the candidate to come back and let the team know if they are a yes or not. YesIf the candidate is a Yes:

- Get them signed up. Have them choose the Status Level that is right for them. - Schedule a Getting Started Training as soon as possible

- Candidate is told to not contact anyone until they are trained (very important)

Three Types of InvolvementPeople get involved in Alphay in three different ways. When your organization is 5 people big, and 5,000 people big, you will be able to see that there are only 3 different types of involvement. These three types are:

1. Be a Customer— those who purchase Alphay products from your online website and with the interest in the health benefits. These can be both Customers, ordering from your site only as Customers, as well as people who have paid for their $35 membership, but only use it to get their products at Distributor pricing.

2. Be a Product Sharer — those who sign on as Distributors and tend to be very product-centric and mainly approach others about the power of using Alphay’s products.

3. Be a Business Builder (aka Recruiter, Franchiser of the Business) — those who sign on as Distributors who understand that the key to financial freedom is to invite others to partner with them in this business venture. All three are important, and all three will make up a healthy and prosperous organization.

Which do you want to beAs you’ll soon experience, the majority of Alphay Distributors will approach their involvement in Alphay as the #2 in the above three types: Be a Product Sharer. This makes sense, because that is often already in people’s comfort zone—humans naturally share things they personally like and use, and believe others will benefit from. Product Sharers see their daily task as telling people about Lingzhi. They talk to people about Lingzhi, they approach people about Lingzhi, their business cards tend to highlight Lingzhi, on social media they post things mainly about Lingzhi, and most importantly, people perceive them as sellers and marketers and Product Sharers. Because of this, Product Sharers are usually quite good at getting Customers. This is because they talk to people about, well, Lingzhi.

These Product Sharers, however, also want to make money, so when they excite prospects about Alphay and joining their team, they are, of course, speaking to these prospects in the language of being Product Sharers, because that’s what they are themselves. So all of their invitation language is discussing with them about becoming a similar Distributors of the products. Just like them.

Here are some characteristics that often define purely Product Sharers’ organizations: ✦ Growth tends to stop, or slow to a crawl, generally around the 3rd or 4th level.

LingzhiAcademy.com! Getting Started Training!

page 28 by Scott Ohlgren v. 8.0

Page 29: Getting Started Training v8 · 2017-01-31 · Keep it simple. This training is for any Alphay Distributor who has just signed up. It will teach you what to learn, what to focus on,

✦ Group Volume will tend to stop, generally between 1000 to 5,000 in monthly total volume.✦ Pin Rank advancement stops, generally between Sapphire or Ruby. Sometimes a Distributors of the

products can reach Emerald, but not very often. ✦ Monthly income tends to stop, between $300-1200 a month.

What’s missing? Why is growth stopping? Go back to the 3 categories mentioned above, the 3 types that make up all Alphay organizations:

1. Customers2. Product Sharers3. Recruiters/Franchisers of the Business. What’s missing in any group where growth has stopped is #3: Recruiters of the Business.

This training will focus on that third option: how to be a Recruiter of the Alphay Business. How to be crack Team Builder. A Master Business Woman or Man who invites people to partner with you in your business. To do that, this training focuses on: 1. How to become a master inviter yourself. 2. How to invite potential candidates specifically to partner with you in this business. 3. How to train these resulting candidates-turned-Distributors into fellow Recruiters

Making The ShiftMost people who become an Alphay Distributor do so because they want more prosperity. They want to get out of the linear income model, and they hear that the network marketing model can provide this walk-away, residual income that lasts for decades to come and transforms the quality of their life and those people who build with them. Yet the majority of all network marketers in the world lead with the product, never make it beyond $500 a month. They also tend to see themselves mainly as Distributors of Their Product. In other words, Product Sharers. They do it this way because they’ve been told this is how they’ll accomplish this goal of walk-away residual income. So they become Product Sharers, and by being that, and training that, their organizations contain Customers and Distributors of the Product. But they rarely contain Recruiters of the Business.

This training will teach you the skills of inviting people to partner with you in your business, to be a Recruiter of Alphay, and then train your team to be the Recruiters of Alphay. By doing this, you will build an Alphay network that self perpetuates; that grows beyond your own efforts; that grows deep and wide and far beyond your own place of residence, whether you are working at it or not.

What a successful Alphay franchise looks likeBelow is an image of what an ideal organization of a Recruiter of the Business looks like. Consider this image as the basic franchise model of what you are building. Note the following characteristics: 1. The sponsor sees themselves as a Business Builder who spends most of their time inviting others to partner with them in this business. In other words, they mainly recruit for people hungry for success.

2. In the ideal franchise model, you’ll see that each Recruiter of the Business ultimately has at least 5 strong Level 1 PSDs (represented by the blue 3D person) who also seem themselves as recruiters of the business. They’ve been trained to think that way, trained to recruit that way, and trained to spend the majority of their time inviting others to partner with them in this business.

3. Along the way, every Recruiter of the Business naturally finds a handful of Customers. Those are represented by the group to the right.

4. Along the way, every Recruiter of the Business will also end up plenty of PSDs who end up being more Product Sharers(represented by the purple group to the left). These distributors will feel more comfortable talking about the benefits of Lingzhi, and tend to build a Product Sharersorganization, similar to what we mentioned in the prior section.

Recruiters of the Alphay Business will naturally find Customers and regular Distributors; those come along as a matter of course. But every Recruiter will tell you: that’s not their focus. That’s just what occurs being involved in Alphay’s powerful lingzhi formulas. Instead, every top earner in Alphay will tell you that they recognized that the Alphay Business is mainly a business of building a franchise of trained networkers who each find and train people to build a franchise of trained networkers.

Why become a Recruiter of the BusinessTo reach the top 10% income earners in Alphay, you may need to undo some habits. Such as:

✦ not see yourself mainly as a Lingzhi promoter.

✦ not see “talking to people about Lingzhi” as your main business approach.

✦ not invite people mainly through the lens of being a lingzhi promoter.

If the above seems counter-intuitive, you’re not alone. But now you’re understanding why this training, and learning the skills taught here will bring you to the top income earners. Instead, the habits and skills and mindset you will learn are:

✦ 1. How to become a Recruiter/Inviter yourself. ✦ 2. How to invite potential candidates specifically to partner with you in this business. ✦ 3. How to train these resulting candidates-turned-Distributors into fellow Recruiters

Some characteristics of an Alphay Recruiter of the Alphay business: ✦ fully grasps that Alphay is the single biggest opportunity of their lifetime. This is the platform in which

you can accomplish everything you’ve wanted. ✦ is different from being a customer, a passionate sharer of lingzhi magic, a hobby income earner, a

“we’ll see how this goes,” or someone who relies on luck. ✦ An Alphay spokesperson treats this as a professional career. You are a business builder, wanting

more success than ever before. ✦ presents the vision of Alphay through a single initial video.✦ spends a majority of their time inviting potential candidates to partner with them in this at Alphay

business.✦ let's the tools (more than your long-winded monolog) do most of explaining of what this lifestyle and
