How We Get In The Box

• Collusion• Who feels blameworthy today?

• Here I am in my box

• Instead of saying ‘Hey I’m not perfect, but Im doing the best I can’

• We self-justify and become defensive when it comes to blame and thus, we provoke others to be in the box with us.

How To Get Out Of The Box

• Self-Reflection• What role do I play?• What responsibility do I have?• How do I get students to come forwards?• How do I get students to self-Identify when they are

being self-deceptive?

• Take responsibility• My staff was missing things and it was a systematic failue

and I began to own up to the things that were happening.
