This is the
Space Needle.
It was
designed in the
1960’s and its
‘flying saucer
look’ is no
coincidence.
The conceivers
wanted to do
something
that’d be ahead
of their time.
Whether you
like it or not, it’s
Seattle’s
landmark.
The
Olympic
Peninsula
is the
rainiest
part of the
United
States.
Luckily, it
did not
rain once
while we
were
there!
Sarah Stacey
• Australian, 23 years old, wants to become a primary school teacher.

• Lives in the Netherlands, 20 years old, studies in education.
• Every Monday night Marie and I went at the ‘movie madness’ on campus.
• Fun Fact: I used to tease her because she hates the color orange (which is associated with the Netherlands).
Close friends I made while in Wa. State
