Getinge is committed to partnering in training with the medical community and pleased to share over 15 years of experience in endovascular and over 50 years of experience in open surgery through the Getinge Vascular Academy.
Getinge Vascular Academy offers a variety of masterclasses with the support of Vascular International School for Vascular Surgery, in order to provide the participants with the opportunity to improve their skills and outcomes in vascular interventions while building relationships with medical experts and peers from different countries.
All masterclasses will be performed under close supervision of esteemed surgeons using lifelike pulsatile models which are also used for UEMS exams.

Vascular AccessThe Vascular Access Course addresses the needs of both novice and experienced vascular and general surgeons. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and technical skills for vascular access surgery (VAS) for dialysis. Course offers excellent hands- on sessions of arterio-venous fistulas (AVF) and to place arterio-venous grafts (AVG) in a safe manner for long lasting vascular accesses.

Thoracic Surgery The thoracic surgery is designated for advanced cardiac surgery trainees and young consultants. This unique course combines theoretical knowledge and excellent hands-on experience on pulsatile lifelike models to perform different open cardiothoracic procedures: root and arch surgery

EndovascularThe endovascular surgery course is designed for young vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists and cardiologists. This unique course combines theoretical knowledge and excellent hands-on experience on brand new pulsatile endovascular models to models to treat aortoiliac disease and do renal stenting in complex aortic cases.
