View, Delete and Rate PhotosYou can use the arrows at the top of the Express Labtool bar to quickly flip through your photos.If you find a duplicate or a photo that is beyond repair, just click the

to delete it.While you're viewing your photos trying to decide what to keep and whatto throw, you can give each photo a star rating. Just click the number ofstars you'd like to give the photo and the information is automaticallysaved. This is as great way to keep yourself organized (give five stars toyour best photos or one star to a photo that needs some work), becauseonce you rate your photos in the Express Lab you can use Paint Shop ProPhoto's Organizer to find photos based on rating.

Use the Express Lab to Crop a PhotoOnce you're done viewing your photos, find one that you'd like tocrop and quickly fix up, and then click its thumbnail to open it.Generally, if a photo would benefit from cropping, you shouldremove this extraneous image area prior to applying any adjustments.

From the Express Lab toolbar, choose the tool. By default, thecrop rectangle appears on the image, a few Crop controls appearbelow the rectangle in a floating toolbar, and the area outside therectangle is shaded. Notice also the Crop controls along the right sideof the Express Lab.Adjust the crop rectangle size by dragging any of its corners or sidehandles. To move the crop rectangle, position the cursor inside anddrag the mouse. You can use the controls along the right side of the

Express Lab to specify or , or choose a crop sizesuch as 4 x 6 inches, or 10 x 15 centimeters.

When you're ready to apply the crop, click the button foundin the floating Crop toolbar (or just double click inside the croprectangle).

Fix the photo quicklyApplying a set of comprehensive photo corrections is easy using the Express Lab.

You can do this quickly by choosing .

On the right side of the Express Lab, you can adjust the photo's

, and by dragging the slider control, or typing avalue in the numeric control to the right of each slider.If you want Paint Shop Pro Photo to automatically evaluate your photo and apply a

set of corrections, simply click the button found in the controlsarea, and then look at thedifference in your photo.
