Teachers — We wanted to let you know the plan for Read Around The School on February 16th. So here it is! Author Focus—Jarrett Krosoczka February 8th - Let Katy know which 3 teachers will be reading for your grade level. The other teachers will be class / hall monitors. Each teacher will be using her classroom to read from. We think it will be really great for the little ones to see the Annex. There will be outside monitors, so no worries! February 11th or 12th - Buddy classes need to meet and buddies will plan the 2 books that they will hear the next week. We will provide a map for each 3rd through 5th grader with book locations. They will be in your boxes by Thursday morning. Big buddies will keep the map to use with their buddy the next day. This only needs to be just a few minutes of your day. February 16th - If you are reading, we will provide you with the book & sign to hang outside your room. 1:45 - Big buddies will report to the lower grades to help escort their little buddies to their first book pick. 1:55 - 2:10 1st book reading in 2:10 - 2:15 travel time to next book 2:15 - 2:30 2nd book reading 2:30 - 2:35 all students travel back to classrooms
