If you have a video of your performance, make sure you have shared it, emailed it or upload it onto youtube.

Part II of Shakespearean Performance Assessment

Individual Paper

Now that you have performed live or turned in a recorded version of your performance, you need to reflect on the experience of preparing, practicing and performing a Shakespearean piece.

You will compose this reflection in a 1 – 2 page paper that is typed in MLA format (heading, title, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font)

The paper is due on Wednesday, April 16.

How did you decide who would play who?

Do you feel like you put enough thought and effort into the preparation for this project? If so, what did you do that made you feel this way? If not, what do you wish you would have done differently when preparing?

What strategies did you use to memorize your lines? Were you successful?

Do you feel like you put enough effort into practicing your performance? Was one week of class time enough to practice your scene?

Overall, how do you feel about your individual performance (whether you worked with others or by yourself)? Do you feel like you put forth your best effort during the performance? Explain.
