BRANDERBOOTS - Join the Branderboots on our next hike! Bring lunch to enjoy after the 10:30 worship service, then head out with our intergenerational group. Join us Sunday, May 29th at Forest Hill Park, located at 4021 Forest Hill Ave. Richmond, VA 23225. Forest Hill Park is listed in Virginia's Historic Register. The park was once a quarry, an estate and then an amusement park. The park hosts tennis courts, picnic shelters, a children's playground, and many popular paths and trails for walking and jogging. A partial wetland, much wildlife can be viewed in the park. The paths to the wetland are steep so wear comfortable shoes and consider bringing your hiking stick. SOFTBALL - The church plays in a mildly competitive co-ed softball league on Friday nights. The next game is June 3rd at 8:30PM at Ironbridge Park, field #6. MEN’S BIBLE STUDY - Continuing on Wednesdays at 8AM, we have a six-week study of Tony Evans' "Kingdom Agenda" using his book and videos. It is a great time to join our group of laid-back Bible studiers. WHERE IS GOD IN STAR WARS - Continuing this Sunday at 9AM, a new intergenerational Sunday School class, designed for middle school students on up. More info is available from Steve Begg at southernbeggs@verizon.net TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY - This adult Sunday School class will read and discuss one chapter of Bill Hybels' classic book each Sunday at 9AM. The class, which will meet through August, will focus on practical ideas for slowing down to be with God. For more information, contact Linda Saunders or by phone at 804-501-8868. DISCIPLE 1 - This 34-week in-depth study of the Bible is one of the most popular and significant programs the United Methodist Church has offered in its long history. GROUNDS COMMITTEE - Enjoy God’s beautiful creation! The fresh air! The scenery! Tom Doyle and crew are still looking for a few helping hands to spruce up the entrances around the church before Sunday services. If you can handle a leaf blower, Tom would be happy to accommodate your schedule on either a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday morning! LAY DELEGATE TO ANNUAL CONFERENCE NEEDED - Every year the United Methodists in Virginia gather for a 3 day meeting. This year's Annual Conference will be held June 17-19 in Roanoke, VA. The expenses for this trip will be covered by Brandermill Church. Pastor Marg will also be attending this meeting as our clergy delegate. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please let Pastor Marg know. Any member of Brandermill Church regardless of age, is eligible to represent us.

Sunday School for children (ages 3 - 5th grade), youth (6th - 12th grade), and adult small groups meets upstairs at 9:00 AM.

after Children’s Time at the 10:30 AM Service.

Childcare for infants and children up to age 4 is available in the Nursery located in the entryway.

At the rear of the Sanctuary, rocking chairs are available for parents who would like to rock their infants.

COOKOUT - The youth group will have a cookout TODAY hosted by Greg and Janit Allen from 4-6:30PM. If you haven’t already signed-up to attend, see Ashley. YOUTH GROUP meets on Sundays with music from 4-4:45PM, followed by games, snack and devotion from 4:45-6PM. (Note: Youth Group will resume meeting June 5th -no meeting next Sunday on Memorial Day weekend.)

BRANDERMILL REGIONAL MEN’S CLUB CHARITY CONCERT - The annual BRMC charity concert will be held at 3 PM on TODAY. There is a new program and new venue. The concert will be at the Career and Technical Center on Hull Street (former Clover Hill High School) and feature two outstanding musical groups; the Jazz Warriors and Spectrum. Join us for a great musical show with proceeds going to support regional charities. You may buy tickets for only $15 from Don Reich or at the door.
