Get a LIFE Grant. Invest in a greener future! LIFE is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action, which contributes to the implementation and development of EU policy and legislation. After more than 25 years of existence, LIFE has funded more than 4.170 projects with over €3,4 billion and continues to co-finance nature conservation, environment and climate projects. For the 2014-2020 period, the total budget of LIFE is €3,46 billion. LIFE is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action, which contributes to the implementation and development of EU policy and legislation.

The overall aim of the LIFE URBANPROOF project is to increase the resilience of municipalities to climate change by equipping them with a powerful tool for supporting better informed decision making.

The ultimate objective of the project LIFE ORGANIKO is to strategically demonstrate the comparative advantages of organic farming and products versus conventional methods, by using indicators of mitigation efficiency to climate change, agronomic and environmental quality and possible health benefits due to organic diet for children.

The LIFE MEDEA project aims to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of an adaptation strategy to Desert Dust Storms (DDS) and to better inform EU policy-making by providing a field-based evidence for the adoption of a strategic plan for mitigating the health effects of DDS events in Cyprus and the rest of Southeastern Europe.
