Traditional German clothing

• Now a days German clothes are not very recognised around the world, but they have a very significant role in the German culture. There are many different clothes for women and men and I'm going to mention some.

• A typical clothes for men is called Lederhosen. This is a men trouser and is made of leather

Women clothes

• A traditional women clothing is called Dirndl. A Dirndl is a traditional dress witch is worn in southern areas of Germany. This dress was invented during the 19th century and in the ancient days every village has its own particular style of this dress. A Dirndl is composed by a tight-fitting bodice combined with an apron of different colours

CHEF•Harald Wohlfahrt (7 November 1953 in Loffenau) is

a German chef. In 2005 he was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz. He is often rated as the best German chef and amongst the finest in Europe.

• His restaurant Die Schwarzwaldstube was voted 35th best in the world in the Restaurant (magazine) Top 50. It holds 3 Michelin Stars for many years. In 2009 he was voted 23rd in the worlds 50 best Restaurants.

CHEF• Eckart Witzigmann is an Austrian chef.• After his chef-apprenticeship in the Hotel Straubinger in Bad

Gastein (1957–1960), Witzigmann moved on to numerous positions in prestigious restaurants around the world, among others as a student of Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France.

• His work in Germany began in 1971 at the Munich restaurant Tantris designed by the architect Justus Dahinden.
