On January 25th

Please come and join us for some outdoor fun and a demo with your dog. We need all levels of
dogs in training. The GSDCW demo is at 11:30 am. There will be a tent/canopy with a table in the
park, where we will meet and hang out. Bring a chair, some water and treats for your dog, and
come join us.
In the past we all brought a dish to pass for lunch and snacking. If you would like to bring some-
thing to set on the table, great. Please remember people may be more comfortable eating an
individualized/packaged item. You do not have to bring food to our gathering.
For decades, the members of the GSDCW have donated to this HAWS event as a group.
If you would like to ask friends, family member and co-workers to donate to the HAWS cause,
please collect the money and hand it into Nancy or Angela, under our tent. We will then turn
the whole amount into HAWS as a group effort. We will hand the money in before our demo
at 11:30 am.
After our demo, we will chill by our tent for a bit, and then we’ll take a group walk around the park.
There’s nothing like showing the public how well behave our GSD’s can be.

The Romp begins at 10am with the Blessing of the Pets. The fun for pets & their people continues until 3pm!
SOCIAL PETS WELCOME!! Dogs must remain safely on a 6-8′ leash.
No flexi-leads, please. Other pets should remain in carriers for safety.
Please note: We will follow current CDC and local recommendations at this event,
including social distancing and wearing masks as required. Waukesha County Large Gathering Recommendations

We now have a “Brag Board” at the club that will highlight our members
achievements! Whether you have advanced to a new class level, won an
award/title at an Obedience/Rally trial or Conformation show, we want to
know how you did! But we will need your help! We are not always aware of
everyone’s accomplishments, so if you would like to be spotlighted on the
“Brag Board”, please take a picture of you, your dog with your ribbons/
awards.

[email protected], be sure to add GSDCW in the subject line so it
won’t get lost in junk mail and can be easily searched.
Chicken Liver Brownies – Dog Treats
1 pound raw chicken liver
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup flaxseed meal
1 tsp garlic salt
½ cup water
2 eggs (optional)
Place liver, egg & water in blender and blend chicken liver so it becomes liqui-fied.
Hand stir all other ingredients with the blended liver.
Line 9x13 jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Spread mixture onto the paper. Tap pan on counter to remove any air bubbles. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. They will be soft like brownies. After brownies have cooled, use a piz-za cutter to cut into squares. Keep refrigerated or freeze for longer freshness.
These are great for training, cut into smaller squares for easy treating. Also great for giving your dog pills.
