Work Experience October 2014- Present | All Bar One | Waitress and BartenderI am well trained in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks in keeping with the bar’s specifications and demonstrated ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean. Aside from ensuring all guests enjoy their dining experience I am the branch's Wine Ambassador which means I am also able to help guests in selecting the best wines to compliment their meals or their tastes, improving their experience whilst dining with us.

April 2014 – October 2014 | Jet2.com at East Midlands Airport | Passenger Service AgentMy responsibilities included delivering the best possible customer service to passengers on the ground before they embarked on their flight. I also had to ensure strict security and safety procedures were followed at all times. A big part of Jet2’s customer service is ensuring all employees represent the company well, meaning I had to adhere to strict uniform and appearance guidelines.

June 2012 - December 2013 | Clark’s Shoes, Dudley Merry Hill | Trained Fitter/Sales AssistantI am trained on both the adults and children's department and my duties included ensuring children’s feet were measured correctly and their shoes fitted perfectly, whilst also meeting both the parents and child’s needs. On the adult department I was frequently praised for helping customers by offering an excellent service and expert advice.

February 2011 | Experience as part of a local marketing team Whilst at Ounsdale High School, I was given the opportunity to apply for a position in a small marketing team, an initiative ran by Creative Partnerships. The group, O.M.G (Ounsdale Marketing Group), were given the task of renovating the school's and local businesses reputation and image. This involved sending press releases, organising events, designing logos and slogans for campaigns. One task involved regular meetings with local MP's and the Mayor on how to improve the communities image and how the village could develop to enhance its chances at winning the Best Kept Village competition. At an annual awards presentation I was awarded ‘Best Copywriter’ award and was also nominated for ‘Future Potential Business Entrepreneur’ as part of this initiative.

June 2010 | Work experience at West Bromwich Building Society During my weeks work experience here I was involved in a range of administration functions within a number of departments. I am proficient in Word, Excel and general computing skills and after my time spent here I feel confident making telephone calls to customers and dealing with complaints or possible conflict situations.

Work Experience at 107.7 Wolf Radio, WolverhamptonFor a week here I worked alongside presenters, news readers in particular, carrying out research for forthcoming programmes which involved attendance at Wolverhampton Archives and the local Crown Court. My experience at the station helped me gain valuable communication skills, due to making various phone calls, communicating within the team and also to a live audience on air.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

Outside of work and education, I attended dance classes for 13 years where I annually took exams and appeared in shows at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, showcasing my talents in Tap, Stage, Jazz and Acro dancing. I am very interested in the media and current affairs and different cultures, hoping to travel to many different countries to gain experiences and improve and build upon my foreign languages skills.
