animal foods, is a dietary substrate for NAD/NADP v Niacin at 2.0 – 3.0 g per day: ü ↑HDL-‐cholesterol (15 – 35%) ü ↓ LDL-‐cholesterol (5-‐25%) ü ↓ Triglyceride (20 – 50%) ü ↓ ApoB levels
