Responsible for all aspects of undergraduate and graduate management degree programs; redesigned undergraduate management curriculum; designed and implemented new graduate masters program; Chairman of Academic Affairs Council (the faculty senate); member of President's Cabinet; member of Graduate and Undergraduate Councils; member of Faculty Review Committee; member of Long Range Planning Committee; Small Business Institute Director. Taught courses in areas of strategic management, systems, quantitative analysis, finance, international business, and impact of technology. Wrote proposals and secured funding for research on tourism potential, and on the future of Alaskan development.

Assistant, then Associate Professor ofBusiness Administration - 1974 to 1981 School of Business and Public Administration, University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Taught courses in areas of management, systems, quantitative analysis, and business policy; about two thirds of teaching was at graduate level. Participated in design of graduate and undergraduate curricula; developed integrative block of capstone graduate courses and alternative approaches for teaching quantitative methods.

Graduate Program Director for School from 1975 to 1980; responsible for all admission decisions, counseling, program plans and standards, graduate examination process, etc. for five different graduate degree programs and three certificate programs.

Wrote grant and obtained funding from Energy Research and Development Administration for faculty development institute focusing on energy development problems, and obtained additional funding from Alaska Humanities Forum to conduct public forum on energy development.

Also, Chairman of the UAA Computer Users Committee, member of the Statewide Computer Users Committee, Academic Affairs Board Representative, Chairman of Graduate Program Committee, member of Dean Selection Committee, coordinator for quantitative courses, member of School Planning Committee, IPA Grant Administrator, and Small Business Institute Director. Participated in several Urban Observatory research projects and wrote a number of grant proposals.
