your job to gather clues along your way, in order to become a

• You will begin with a blank sheet of notebook paper

• Number the lines 1 – 50.

• Now that you have 50 states listed on your paper, you need to provide each state’s capital.

• Write each state’s nickname next to the state capital’s name.

• Hint: By the end of this activity, you should have 3 entries on each line of your notebook paper. #37 should read North Carolina, Raleigh, The Tar Heel State.

• Now it is time to see what you have learned.• Flip your sheet of notebook paper over.• Write the words “State ID Quiz” on one of the

lines.• Take the state identification quiz at the

• Write your score on the line you designated for “state id quiz.”
