SITE 5A fault line with rocks fractured and displaced. This is the result of tensional or compressional forces originating from tectonic movement. Faults affected the stability of large-scale construction. In fact, the effect of earthquake on an area with faults would be disastrous. Therefore, geologists and engineers keep the location of nuclear power plants and tunnels away from active faults.

SITE 5o Endogenetic processo Slide aparto The rock was cut into 3 parts.

The middle part moves downwards. And,it is not parallel with the other 2 parts.

FEELINGS OF GROUP MEMBERS*

Leung Ching Lik’s feeling

After this trip,I feel there are so many things in the Earth that I haven’t learned.I had a full-confidence for my knowledge of my living place but now has gone. The Earth is really big and must be known. So,from now,I decide I will work hard at my all Geography lessons.

During the trip, the weather suddenly got worse and worse and it rained. The floor was difficult for us to go on. But all 4A students had not given up and helped each other.I was seeing the most beautiful view of human at that time. They didn't defeat by hardship.I am trying to learn from them and keep this policy on my studying.

Wu Chi Kuan’s feelingIn this field trip , I think it was very interesting , and I learnt what is team work . In the trip we need to separate the different jobs, someone bring the camera, someone take the photo for the project , someone need to take down the notes for prepare the project.

Everyone need to do different things. The unforgettable thing is when we were hiking , it was raining. All of us wet after arrived the check point. After the trip , all of us were very dirty, but I felt very interesting and I learnt more about Geography.

Tam Chi Kit’s feelingI feel this field trip is very interesting because when are walking , there is raining , very funny . But we are wet , and that make us walking difficultly . • made my trousers and shoes very dirty. This made me very trouble. But this trip is very valuable for me.

Lau Yee Wa’s FeelingI like this field trip very much.It was an interesting way for us to learn the knowledge of geography.Though this activity, we could learn what we should learn and we had a better understanding of them instead of just learn them from the text books.
