Geoestrutural was founded in 1997 and is pursuing its

traditional career successfully, in the fields of geology,

geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, mineral

prospecting, environmental and civilian projects.

The company has a great experience in elaborating

geological, structural and geo-mechanical models. It also

is specialized in stability of natural slopes, in special

excavation, either in the open air or underground.

It Work with projects that involve a great responsibility

regarding the geotechnical safety and slope stability of

large extension.

Geoestrutural’s main clients have been Vale (Vale do Rio

Doce Company), Samarco, MBR (Minerações Brasileiras

Reunidas) and Magnesita. In geotechnique for

underground excavation, the company has experience

with copper and gold. The services of Geoestrutural are

also being offered to Caraíba, Anglogold and São Bento.

Geoestrutural is especially familiar with the Quadrilátero Ferrífero of Minas Gerais and Carajás in Pará and has worked in all of the main iron mining areas of Brazil.We have a notable performance in the civil projects, especially in mining, having designed several waste dumps, dams, roads, and tunnels for many clients including VALE (Vale do Rio Doce Company) and Magnesita.Also participates in the projects which involve hydrogeology, designing and monitoring dewatering the mining pits and deep drainage of slopes. In this area, in addition to several clients, Geoestrutural is the pioneer at Samarco mining, having designed all the flowing system of Complexo da Alegria in Mariana – MG.

At mineral research area Geoestrutural has worked frequently with VALE (Vale do Rio Doce Company), Magnesita and Samitri. Currently, is developing the entire mining project of CENIBRA (Celulose Nipo-Brasileira) and thus has extensive experience in mining of iron, manganese, gold, basic metals, bauxite, industrial minerals and mineral water.In the environmental area, Geoestrutural also has a notable curriculum. The experience is focused on the environmental license of mining projects and large dams, decommissioning of mines, the rehabilitation of degraded areas and depollution of aquifers.
