GENERAL NOTES

Situation Newborough Hall Farm has excellent national road network access via the A50 and M1 from Junction 24.

From the A515/A50 Confluence at Sudbury. Pick up the A515 southbound for Lichfield and Draycott in the Clay. Pass over the railway and take the second exit at the roundabout to continue up through Draycott in the Clay. At the 6 Lanes End junction, turn right for Newborough (Beware dangerous crossing). Continue down Hollybush Road for 1 ¼ miles, with the car park field lying on the right in the dip just before the main village.

From Lichfield & The South. Pick up the A515 northbound towards Ashbourne, Yoxall and Draycott in the Clay. Travel up through Yoxall village and continue on the A515 through the average speed check area for 5 ½ miles. At the 6 Lanes End junction, turn left for Newborough (Beware dangerous crossing). Continue down Hollybush Road for 1 ¼ miles, with the car park field lying on the right in the dip just before the main village.

FOREWORD

This genuine dispersal sale arises as a result of the retirement of Mr Philip Slater after a family tenancy on the Duchy Holding since 1952. Many locals will know that the well renowned recorded herd of Holstein Friesian dairy cattle has already been dispersed which leaves a very well maintained range of Ford/New Holland Tractors together with machinery for genuine sale. A star of the sale is the Kuhn Primor 2060H Trailed Bedding Machine which has undertaken very little work and was bought new onto the holding in 2014. The Watson Heavy Flat Roll is a large wide 12Ft coverage model and was purchased new in 2015 and has also done very little work. The New Holland Tractors are a credit to their owner, with the prime mover being the New Holland T6040 4WD Elite which has undertaken under 2800 hours and was purchased second hand on a 09 plate. There is an excellent range of livestock related machinery together with sundries and effects and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine retirement dispersal.
