    Streaming Video Quali ty Testing

    Dear Customer,

    Your purchase order also includes a license for streaming video quality testing. The copy

    protection module supplied by Anite Finland Ltd is already programmed to support this

    functionality.

    Streaming video quality testing allows you to monitor how streaming video is transferred in the

    network. Data streaming can be made manually and with scripts. Nemo Outdoor measures, for

    example, video quality blockiness, blurriness, jerkiness, and MOS.

    In order to be able to make streaming video quality measurements, you will need to

    activate the Genista license and install RealPlayer on the computer. The Genista license is

    always software protected and the license is associated with a certain computer even if you

    purchased your Nemo Outdoor with a hardware copy protection key.

    In the installation folder of Nemo Outdoor (e.g., C:\Nemo Tools\Nemo Outdoor 4.x) you will find

    a file named GenistaActivation.exe. Double-click the file. In the Genista Activationdialog, click

    the Send Emailbutton and click Continuewithout selecting anything in the Removal Code

    dialog. Send the email with the codes to Nemo Technical Support

    ([email protected]). If you do not have an email editor configured on the computer,

    click the Save Codesbutton to save the codes to a text file. Transfer the text file to another

    computer and send the file to Nemo Technical Support .

    You will receive an email from Nemo Technical Support with the activation code. Copy or typethe code in theAct ivation Codefield and click Continue. In the Mixer Initializationdialog you

    can just click OK. The Genista license is now activated.

    If you need to transfer the Genista license to another computer or, for example, reinstall

    the operating system, please contact Nemo Technical Support first.Anite Finland Ltd takes

    no responsibility for lost Genista licenses or for any additional costs required to reactivate the

    Genista license.

    Genista li censing procedures

    Activat ion:

    1. Run the Genista software (i.e. GeniPQoS.exe, i.e. DlgSample.exeapplication for SDK)

    The Activation Dialog appears.

    2. Send the activation code to Nemo Technical Support at [email protected].

    License Removal:

    1. Make sure that Scroll Lockis activated on the computers keyboard

    2. Start an application

    3. The Activation Dialog appears.

    4. Click on Remove License

    5. Enter the Activation Code corresponding to this installation in the corresponding field on the

    6. Click Continue >>.

    7. Press Yes on the warning dialog.

    8. A dialog appears containing the Removal Code for this software.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure you have a copy of this Removal Code before discarding the dialog.

    This code is necessary for the success of this operation. Losing this code means losing theLicense.

    9. Send the Removal Code to [email protected]. Enter the Removal Code obtained in

    the corresponding field and click on Remove License.

    10. Press OKon the Removal Code dialog.

    Your license has been removed from your computer.

    License Transfer from one system to another:

    License Removal on the Original System (Computer A)

    First you need to remove the license from the computer where Genista software is installed

    (Computer A):

    1. Make sure that Scroll Lock is activated on Computer A's keyboard

    2. Start an application using Genista software.

    The Activation Dialog appears.

    3. Select Remove L icense.

    4. Enter the Activation Code corresponding to this installation in the corresponding field on the

    dialog.

    5. Click Continue >>

    6. Press Yeson the warning dialog.

    7. A dialog appears containing the Removal Code for this software.

    8. Send the Removal Code to [email protected]. Enter the Removal Code obtained in

    the corresponding field and click on Remove License.

    9. Press OKon the Removal Code dialog.

    IMPORTANT:Make sure you have a copy of this Removal Code before discarding the dialog.

    This code is necessary for the license transfer. Without this code the transfer procedure will

    not be allowed.

    Your license has been removed from Computer A.

    Act ivation of the New System (Computer B)

    1. On the Computer B, install Genista SDK or copy the SDK DLL Components listed previously.

    2. Start an application using Genista SDK.

    The Activation Dialog appears.

    3. Send the Activation Code and Removal Code of Computer Aand also Site Code and MID

    appearing in the Activation Dialog of Computer B to [email protected].

    4. After you have received the new Activation Code from [email protected] Copy the

    activation code and enter it in the corresponding field on Computer B.

    5. Press Continue >>.

    6. Your application starts.

    Your copy of Genista software has been successfully activated on Computer B.
