Geneva International Motor Show Debuts all'84esimo the avant­premiere of the Alfa Romeo 4CSpider, evolution 'discovery' of the award­winning coupe launched last. Characterized by specificfeatures and distinctive aesthetic treatments, the avant­premiere is a real design research aimedat selecting some of this content for mass production scheduled for early next year.

In the tradition of Alfa Romeo Spider occupies a prominent place as it has always representedthe expression 'free emotive' car. And with that spirit comes the avant­premiere of the AlfaRomeo 4C Spider, the natural evolution of the convertibles created by Alfa Romeo in its longhistory, cars that have always produced strong emotions, guaranteeing extremely entertainingdriving and combining a dream line with the performance of powerful, elastic engines.

For this reason, the avant­premiere inherits all the winning features of the Alfa Romeo 4C coupe,the modern icon of the brand that represents the essence of sportsmanship inherent in the 'AlfaRomeo DNA': performance, Italian style and technical excellence aimed at maximum drivingpleasure in total safety.

Exterior styling

Designed by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the avant­premiere at '2 seater 'with rear­wheel driveand engine in central position, confirms the brand's excellence in this area as shown by someSpider's being regarded among the finest in the history of 'motoring world, such as the GiuliettaSpider from the 50's or the legendary Duetto made famous by the movie "The Graduate" in 1967,to the charming Alfa Romeo 8C Spider. And now it's up to the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider to collectand project into the future the values of technology and emotion which belong to the Alfa Romeolegacy.

Peculiarities of the avant­premiere is the exclusive livery Glossy White tristrato that, with itsdepth and iridescence, plasma volumes of the car showing the sculpted and finely modeled.On this 'dress' unmistakable 'Italian elegance' stand the roll bar cover specific carbon and thering carbon windshield that combines the concepts of lightness and strength, in line with thebinomial 'functional beauty' exclusive Alfa Romeo.

The search for novel design solutions can also be seen in the new headlights 'under themicroscope', from special alloy wheels with different diameters (18 "front and 19" rear) and Pirellitires of generous proportions.

Interior Design

The simplicity of design and materials also distinguishes the interior, being all conceived andaimed at maximum involvement of the driving experience. In particular, stands out immediatelyinside the carbon fiber used for the realization of the central cell, left exposed to enhance thesense of uniqueness, technology and lightness. In addition, to further enhance the uniqueness ofthe spider version of the Alfa Romeo designers have chosen a particular fruit leather upholsteryin the best tradition of craftsmanship Made in Italy.
