Saul Rejected as King l

Paul's Post-Conversion Life

• "Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

Feeding the Multitude• Mark 8:19-21• 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many

baskets full of fragments did you take up?"

• 20 "Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?"

• And they said, "Seven."

LORD'S SUPPER

• The institution of the Eucharist had been prepared for by Christ through the object-lesson of the feeding of the five thousand (Matt 14:13-21; Mark 6:35-44; Luke 9:12-17; John 6:4-13), which was followed up by the discourse about Himself as the Bread of Life, and about eating His Flesh and drinking His Blood as the nourishment of eternal life.

• In the discourse at Capernaum (John 6:26-58) Christ led the thought of His hearers from earthly to heavenly food, from food that perished to the true bread from heaven.

• He declared Himself to be the living bread, and, further, that it is through eating His flesh and drinking His blood that they shall possess true life in themselves.

Joseph’s brothers bow before him

• How many years since he told them about the dream ?

• God’s promises comes true in the fullness of time.

Joseph accuses his Brhers

• Why ?

• He feared that they may done to his brother as did to him.

• Joseph purpose was to correct them

• He was trying to awaken their conscience

• And get them to admit their guilt

Returning the Money

Self Justification

Luke 17:10• 10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those

things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
