CIRIEC (International Center for Research and Information on the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy ) is a prestigious internationalscientific organization non-governmental, headquartered in Belgium, whose objectives are to promote the search for information, thescientific research and the dissemination of work on the sectors and activities that have as their main task to serve the general interest

and to the development of the social economy; government intervention in economic matters, regional plans, public enterprises, cooperatives,mutual societies, associations, societies labor and other forms of social economy. Its action is intended, in this regard, the information and themutual enrichment of professionals and scientists.The CIRIEC INTERNATIONAL was established in 1947 and is headquartered at the University of Liege (Belgium). Currently with nationalsections in 15 countries: Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Turkeyand Venezuela.One of the objectives of the CIRIEC is to promote the organization of the state and of all the university researchers in the field h of SocialEconomy; boost work teams, stimulate areas of knowledge focused on the Social Economy and, along with the aforementioned, establish stronglinkages between Universities and companies of Social Economy.

The CIRIEC conducts symposia, seminars, scientific meetings and international congresses in the bi annual form with prestigiouspersonalities at the global level. In the publications field, the results of the investigations are prominent through the collection SocialEconomy and Public Economy, the work of the scientific departments, and the magazine ANNALES DE ECONOMIE PUBLIC, SOCIAL ETĹ

COOPERATIVE ECONOMICS, with more than 100 years of publications, founded in Geneva in 1908.CIRIEC is also focused on scientific research worldwide, through the International Scientific Council composed of leading academics andexperts in public, social and cooperative activity.IAIES -The Argentine Reserch Institute of Social Economy, is a scientific institution that since its founding in 1966 has developed its academicactivities in the dissemination and promotion of the Social Economy in different aspects, all of them oriented to the public good as firstpurpose. It is a non-profit institution and its actions have been primarily focused in the scientific research, in the dissemination and training.It is also, since 1966, the ARGENTINE SECTION OF THE CIRIEC INTERNATIONAL with headquarters in Liege, Belgium, and one of the oldestsections within that institution of an international character. It is currently one of the 15 countries of the region, with active participation, bothat the Board of Directors as in the International Scientific Council, with assistance, presentations, and various scientific papers ininternational congresses. The volunteer task developed by its members in the various stages has allowed the Institute IAIES remains a validreference for those who understand the solidarity system as a way of life that includes the role of creativity, democracy and freedom. Thetrajectory and the examples of the great men who formed part of this institution show, by themselves, the values and ideals on what they werecemented.About the IAIES activities, it is necessary to point out the production and editing of the NOTEBOOKS OF SOCIAL ECONOMY (inspired by LesAnnales) whose dissemination is widely known in the scientific aspect, in both the National and Latin American levels, as a point of reference.These Notebooks were published for the first time in 1979.For the foregoing reasons, it is worth noting that the IAIES is the pioneering institution in the scientific and technical publications of the SocialEconomy in Argentina and in several other countries of America. The activities of scientific character of IAIES cover: Publications of theNotebooks of Social Economy, specific investigations, seminars, training courses, events and national and international conferences on SocialEconomy.

The 30th Congress under the motto, Social, Public and Cooperative Economy: Innovative Answers to global issues, pretends throug theexhibitions of international specialists, presentation of papers and workshops with discussions, address from the standpoint of publicand social enterprises and cooperatives the major challenges in that it is immersed the world today, so as to provide answers through

innovation and knowledge, for a change increasingly necessary, in the human development and its habitat.
