General Research of Genre

My genre is Drama. Drama is

Knowing and using the dramatic techniques or conventions as they are sometimes referred to,

is the key to teaching and learning in drama and underpins the approaches recommended in all

of the guidance documents.

A prose or verse composition, especially one telling a serious story, that is intended for

representation by actors impersonating the characters and performing the dialogue and action.

Drama is a serious narrative work or program for television, radio, or the cinema.

A drama movie could be about a father's life unravels while he deals with a marital crisis and

tries to manage his relationship with his children. There is drama genre, which has tragedy and

love.

Drama, the general term for performances in which actors impersonates the actions and speech

of fictional or historical characters (or non‐human entities) for the entertainment of an

audience, either on a stage or by means of a broadcast; or a particular example of this art, i.e. a

play. Drama is usually expected to represent stories showing situations of conflict between

characters, although the monodrama is a special case in which only one performer speaks.

Drama is a major genre of literature, but includes non‐literary forms (in mime), and has several

dimensions that lie beyond the domain of the literary dramatist or playwright

Drama is just about what moves people emotionally. Some people enjoy that experience.

Defined: "a situation or sequence of events that is highly emotional, tragic, or turbulent"

Drama is the specific mode of fiction represented in performance. The term comes from a

Greek word meaning "action", which is derived from "to do".

Creative drama can include dramatic play, story enactment, imagination journeys, theatre

games, music, and dance.
