” “ For all phases of port development, from conceptual planning to bankable feasibility study, the BMT JFA engineering and management team focus on achieving a cost effective solution that meets port planning guidelines and standards and the client’s requirement, whilst working closely with project stakeholders for either port expansion or green field development.
BMT JFA can specify and organise all aspects of site investigations as inputs into port planning studies. This can include metocean surveys, geological and geotechnical investigation and unexploded ordnance assessment.
This information is used to
develop design criteria for port marine structures and to provide an integrated approach to engineering design of breakwaters, dredging, land reclamation and simulation of vessel navigation and port throughput. BMT JFA manages environmental assessment and approvals, risk management and health and safety and provides project management services for structural engineering design and construction.
