GENERAL NOTES FOR ABUTMENT CONSTRUCTION

A. GENERAL

1. THE NOTES IN THIS DRAWING SHALL BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL RELEVANT DRAWING PERTAINING TO THE BRIDGE.

FABRICATION AND ERECTION

CROSS BRACING SHOULD BE PROVIDED SQUARE TO LONGITUDINAL GIRDERS.6. ALL OBTUSE ANGLE CUTTING SHOULD BE DONE IN PROPER SHAPE AND WITHOUT DAMAGE.7. OVERHANG MEMBERS SHOULD BE SUITABLY SUPPORTED TO AVOID DISTORTION DURING TRANSPORTATION.
