EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS

English 2000 is a Cambridge English Language Assessment Exam Preparation Centre.

CAMBRIDGE FCE

The Cambridge English First (FCE) is an Upper-Intermediate (B2 CEF) level examination. Students who

gain the FCE are able to demonstrate effective communication skills in both oral and written English.

CAMBRIDGE CAE The Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) is an Advanced (C1 CEF) level examination. Students who gain the CAE are able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills in both oral and written English.

IELTS The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses the English language proficiency of

people who want to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.

IELTS tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking.

IELTS test takers can choose between two versions of the test – Academic or General Training –

depending on their academic or professional aims. All candidates take the same Listening and

Speaking components but different Reading and Writing components.

The IELTS nine (9) band score system grades scores consistently. It is secure, benchmarked and

understood worldwide. Test materials are designed carefully so that every version of the test is of a

comparable level of difficulty
