General Preparations Prior to
Physical Demolition
Proposed Demolition Sequence and MethodsProposed demolition Sequence and Methods are based on existing building conditions,Demolition Contractors knowledge and experience put into practice along with the necessary
calculations and advise from our Civil & Structural Consultants.
Inspection on Existing Building and Layout DesignAlthough the building is meant for demolition, an inspection on the health of the building is of
utmost importance. Efforts should be made to acquire the structural plans from the owners or
consultants or the archives from local authorities.A site visit/inspection will also be carried outby our team and affiliated professionals.
Safety PrecautionsSafety precautions has to be extensively planned and monitored any kind demolition especially
along the demolition perimeters. Extra precautions has to be taken to ensure that no debris will
be accidently ejected outside of the site into the neighboring tenants boundary as well as into
the public road. The demolition team, consisting of project managers, supervisors, operators, safety officers, etc.. Shall go through an extensive planning hand in hand.
Soft Stripping/Internal StrippingSoft Stripping will be carried out on the existing building to remove and dispose hazardous and
combustible material, ie: glass windows, doors, wooden fittings, roofing, steel members, steel
structures, carpet and etc. This will also control and minimize projectiles from being ejected
during demolition works.

Preliminary Safety Precautions for
High Rise Structures
CRAB60 Propping
Our Professional Engineer(P.E.) will carry out the slab load calculation to cater
to the movement and vibration from the machineries and subsequently to
design the propping and bracing required to back prop the suspended slab. This
will maximize the safety factor and to avoid from any unintended collapse on
any part of the structure during the course of demolition works

Demolition Sequence
Top-Down Demolition
Physical hacking works will be carried out on floor by floor
