What is AMSA? Largest national association of physicians-in-

training. Largest pre-medical organization on campus. Dedicated to helping pre-medical students at Pitt

succeed in reaching their goals of becoming medical professionals.

We assist our members throughout their journey to medical school by providing them with academic guidance, clinical and research opportunities, and a supportive community.

Main goal of the chairs and the committee is to help facilitate different experiences for the members of AMSA Volunteering

Organizing  events at local charities/non-profits Helping build relationships between AMSA and other

Fundraising Committee Objectives

Plan and coordinate all AMSA-hosted charitable/fundraising events Raise both funds and awareness of AMSA through such events Coordinate financial logistics of eBoard projects

What we have done: Hold Fundraisers at Restaurants such as 5 Guys Request Allocations from Student Government Assist other committees

(Helped VCR committee with Children’s Hospital book drive)

Assists in planning and coordinating any and all AMSA activities and events, which involve other organizations both on and off campus

Publicizes any events funded or facilitated by AMSA by advertising on social media or by word of mouth
