Doug says he has not had as much trouble scheduling a speaker, as he did with getting a speaker for this week. He would like to thank and introduce Madeline Iselie, Vice President for Advancement at Sinclair Community College. The best kept secret in Dayton. Madeline asked if we had seen today’s Dayton Daily News. On the front page it stated that Most Ohio jobs in the future will require some college. Sinclair is working on Education for Jobs and for Life. Over the last five years, Sinclair has produced nearly 15,000 graduates. Over 4500 students transfer to universities annually to purse bachelor’s degrees. Sinclair offers more than 170 programs and works with key industries to prepare our region’s workforce with the right skills for success. The up and coming high growth fields will be Bioscience, IT and Advanced Manufacturing. Encourage your children and grandchildren to look at taking their basic classes at Sinclair Sinclair offers 5 campuses in Montgomery County and a Warren County and Preble County campus.
