Building 1

Board covered and with roof covering living house, build with timber and standing planks 20 alen (1 alen = 63 cm) long, 10 alen wide and 4 ¼ alen to the roof and to the ridge of the roof 6 ½ alen. In the house are two timbered living rooms and two sleeping rooms and hall and kitchen which has a with stone made chimney. On second floor, there are two paneled sleeping rooms. There are 13 doors in the house 10 ½ set with double windows. And there are 1 three-storied oven and 1 other. The taxation says 300 spd pluss 10 for the storied oven. Further on it states that the distance between this house and the barn is 24 alen.
