DECLARATION ON GENDER RESPONSIVE STANDARDS

By s igning the Declaration, developed at UNECE, s tandards

bodies pledge to create and implement gender action plans . The

objective is to s upport more gender-balanced and inclus ive

s tandards development proces s es , and to s trengthen the gender-

res pons ivenes s of s tandards thems elves , including by

conducting gender-bas ed analys is for the development or

revis ion of a ll s tandards .

Signatories a ls o commit to tracking progres s , collecting and

dis s eminating relevant data , s ucces s s tories and good practice.
